Naahh, other than the majority of the fan base not wanting to hear the shitstorm it would create from the small minority of the fan base that is butthurt Napier wasn't hired at LSU, I don't think we are any more "terrified" of Florida winning than we were win Urban or Mullen was there.
I will say, I would not be surprised if Napier becomes another Urban Meyer. I will be even less surprised if he becomes another Tom Herman.

Florida just needs to get back to top 5 recruiting classes. In the next 2 years would be tough but the next 5 years definitely.
The U of Florida does have the best overall program in Florida historically, even though Miami had the 5 NC’s in 18 years.
It’s not nothing though that they’ll have 3 other P5 teams in state when UCF moves to the big 12 even with all of the states talent and being the best overall program.

First priority you have to get to uga level which is not easy

The in-roads he’s made within the state over the last 2 months have been incredible. Between Napier and Cristobol, the days out-state schools poaching recruits from Florida will be as difficult as its probably been in over 10+ years.

Yup, it all comes down to recruiting for us which is what sold me on Napier over other names getting thrown around. We’re set-up really well with stars in our friendly areas for next year, I’ll feel really confident in next years class if we close tomorrow as well as we did ESD

Off the field i love what he's done so far. Finally has fla in position to compete for big time recruits going forward. But the on field aspect is still in the air. Have to wait n see.
