Until LSU actually has a better defense than Bama's, I'm going to predict more of the same:

Mostly Bama with a chance of afternoon Bama.

Not sure LSU has youth at LB and at corner. But the line should be killer.

I think Bama has had the best statistical defense in the conference for the last three years.

Must be nice not playing Oregon or West Virginia level offenses.

Bama will be the best at stopping the run and be the best at getting off the field in 3 rd downs.

As long as the SEC is a run first league it will be Bama.

2nd place doesn't matter.

Anthony Johnson or Josh Downs will be the key for LSU defense.

Looking forward to actually seeing freak get a lot of significant snaps. LSU will have the two most talented players in Reid and Mingo.

I just think Bama has a more versatile scheme and is able to stop the run better only using their front 7.

LSU has more experienced top end talent this year on Defense for sure.

move State to 4th and put Georgia 5th and SC 6th

State has finished 3rd and 4th in the SEC the last 2 years in scoring D- and this will be the best defense we've had under Mullen. We may even outplay Florida for 3rd

All of us. The SEC is the only conference that plays defense...
(But I believe the rest of the counttry will be surprised by our offenses this year ;)

Ironically, the sentiment is the same in reverse in the Pac - 12.

USCw, Oregon and Stanford are getting a lot of love on that side of the ball. All three have some of the best linebacking corps in the country.

If Kelly doesn't leave for the NFL, I think you will see it. Armstead in the last class and we look very good for Vanderdoes.
