I grew up in Missouri and south of the Mason-Dixon line. We hate Kansas in SE Mo.

Why is it not Southern, yet more Southern than other states? What criteria are you using to say something is Southern?

Texas and Florida seceded during the Civil War. Missouri did not.

NIL, two major metros with good recruiting territories, multiple Fortune 500 companies, and donors who have finally bought in into the program. Luther Burden really set things in motion though.

Missouri has the 6th largest GDP in the SEC.
