Finally going to beat Ed and LSU? Don't worry cupcake, you guys still have the worse record against Orgeron in the SEC along with Auburn, Ole Piss, and Arky

People don't realize it because Texas beat OU, but I really think they're in trouble. Their recruiting last year was great, because everyone had given up on Sumlin and Herman was still getting the benefit of the doubt. But Herman is a weird guy and the problems with the program at Texas are starting to be more widely known among high school coaches. Texas recruiting this year looks okay, but only because they are doing really well out of state. They are getting killing by Jimbo for in-state talent, and that trend seems to be on the rise with 2020 and 2021 guys. Further, Texas this years is mirage. They lost to Maryland, beat KSU by 5, Baylor by 6, and Tulsa by 7. ALL they have going for them is the OU win, and OU's defense is shite. OU beat Army in overtime.

The rug is going to come out from under Texas, and the problems in the programs are going to strangle their recruiting. They're done, just like Strong was when he has Texas in the top 10 in his second year, but a lot of people don't know it yet. It's a glass house, and I promise you that it's coming down. Maybe this year.

Texas because the entire Big XII is weaker than the SEC W.

Texas is currently in the top 10 with a reinvigorated fan base after about 7 years removed from relevance.

Texas A&M is currently hanging their hats on quality losses in mid-October after signing a new coach to a 10-year $75m contract. With one truly relevant season in the last 25.

A lot of it is due to circumstance, but I'll go ahead and say Texas will get there quicker.

Your wall of text won't change the disappointing return on your investment in snake oil come Thanksgiving.

Herman really is a weird mofo. If it came out he was a pedo or a drug addict in his spare time I would not be surprised one bit

UT's already in the top 10 with a signature win over OU.

Charlie Strong was in the top 11 with a signature win over Notre Dame...finished 5-7 with a loss to Kansas.

Texas. Beat Oklahoma and odds are you are a 10 win team if you have a coach who can find his behind with both hands and a roadmap.

Even if you get roflstomped in an OOC game you are sitting pretty for the rest of the season.

Agreed.

Also, the prestige meter swings way to the Horn’s side as well. Cool kids vs dorks so to speak.....I’ll bypass the girllyman slights.

I think that is kind of the point.

And yet still not relevant.

I think KY and SCarolina look overrated and they looked really shitty against A&M. IF they looked shitty because A&M is so damn good, I do think A&M will be relevant sooner. If not, and I suspect not, I think Texas looks spotty, as opposed to complete retards like they did last year. That's some progress and there wasn't any last year.

To be fair, the only teams in the top 10 that truly look like they belong there are the 4 unbeatens, LSU, Michigan and Florida. I'm not even counting UCF.

Texas. They have much more tradition, money, and a better coach.
