For someone who posts quotes on how little Texas cares about A&M you sure do spend a lot of time laughing about them on an SEC board

You're quoting a women's basketball player. Just let that sink in for a minute.

Texas plays the little sisters of the poor, so they are a paper tiger. One that will get whipped when having to play a real team. They still haven’t beaten one worth a damn this year

I’m surprised A&M is downplaying women’s basketball, the only sport they have true national relevance in the last couple decades

Pretty sure the series is tied since the NCAA put restrictions on the number of scholarships you could give out. So basically over the last 40+ years.

You think those games that happened during WW2 matter today?

The correct answer is Texas.

Texas has a easier path to the playoffs every year. Will they take advantage of it ? Idk

Texas will likely be relative sooner, but only due to the weaker conference they play in. A&M being in the West of the best conference makes things so much tougher. I guess what I am trying to say is the Longhorns path to relevancy is much, much easier.

Who got the head start? Texas! Their head coach been there for three years now. A&M just hired Fisher this year. Not being fair to A&M. Give it 2 more years and you can compare the two.

20-26 since 1965. (A&M admitted women and made the Corps of Cadets non-compulsory)
19-21 since 1972. (Scholarship limitations)

As a neutral fan when I think Texas, I think OU and the red river rivalry/shootout whatever they call it nowadays.

That is all.

Wasn't it just last year, when Texas signed 7 of the top 10 and 11 of the top 15 in the state of Texas, that y'all were clamoring about going out of state because Texas and 7v7 football is soft? Interesting how quickly the narrative changes.

I didn't see that narrative about texas kids.

The Texags company line was that your class was perimeter heavy, and that you weren't getting the OL/DL to be a truly elite team... And I believe that was true, WHEN THEY FIRST SAID IT. You know how texags is though.

We claim 3 championships from before ww2, that doesn't mean they have anything to do with the current state of things... Just like texas 31-3 run from WW2 to Vietnam has no bearing on the two programs in 2018.

Possibly the most embarrassing thing in all of major sports records is that A&M took a 4 decade nap and texas still only has one more championship. You had full run of the state, FOR 40 YEARS.

Texas becasue their conference is easier

Jumbo is going to get it handed to him. Plus his offensive lines always suck and the qb gets killed

Serious question for aggroids like CSLobotomy and Sarge-

Why do you think your program and its fans are so often the butt of ridicule on this forum? Do you consider it a coincidence being the perennial laughing stock of our state for decades AND being the laughing stock of several southeastern states now that they have gotten to know you?

And if you think it’s jealousy- then for what exactly?

I’m honestly curious what your thought are for why you seem to be laughed at by so many fans, regardless of program.

Texas is a national brand whereas A&M simply isn't.

The big 12 wants Texas to be relevant again. Oklahoma wants Texas to be relevant again. The SEC/LSU/Bama don't even think about A&M outside of maybe one week per year.
