I think they win 6 to 8 games.
Which is reasonable.

That's still lower than they should after the classes they've had.
Why do you think a team whose most talented players are freshmen and sophomores should win more than 8 games with a difficult schedule in the toughest division in college football?

Freshman, red-shirt freshman and few sophomores

Why ?

Was that class limited in some way?

No, but many from that class red-shirted because we had so many seniors.

Year 3, by the most awesome assistant coaches in the nation, according to yall. And there should be depth by this time. There's no excuse for expectations to be as low as they are this year, coming off a NC and the recruiting classes they've had.

Auburn will lose one of the Clemson or USCjr games (I'm betting USCjr).

I don't see Bama losing any of their first five.

AL.comHunter just wants to flame, and then hopefully go on a rant about Auburn cutting players, if everything sets up for him perfectly

No derp derp remarks? It's not like you can contribute to a debate with anything of value.

Year 3
They have had 2 years. This will be the third. They won a fricking NC in year 2. They lost a ton of seniors and some pretty important juniors. They have 2 very talented classes of recruits that will be very good, but are too young to be expected to beat talented and more experienced teams.

So depth = 8 win season = ok with Aub fans.

Again.. why Au is Au and their records are what they have been.

Yup, knowing how young we are this season. I don't know why this is so hard for you to grasp.

I'm glad I just chose to answer the OP instead of reading the entire thread.

But.. Tubby left the place in shambles.

Really? Saban was able to mold Julio and class in 2 years to have an outstanding season in his third. I wouldn't expect Au to do that well, but being pleased with 8 total wins is just sad.

Actually, I'm finding it amusing at how fervert some of you are in excusing away 8 total wins, before the season is played.

one season = recordS?

Again.. 119 years, only once, back to back seasons in double digits, and once again.. certainly not expected this year.
