You and Joey keep posting what Chiz is saying. Does that mean you expect a Championship this year?

It doesn't matter what fan expectations are.

Really, he had 2 recruiting classes. The first one was throw together in a short ammount of time. We also do have depth, but depth doesn't really help much when they're as young as they are at nearly every position

Bama won a NC after Saban had 2 "real" recruiting classes and it was expected by the fan base.

What difference do my expectations matter to the players on the team?

I thought it was all about expectations, results, etc?

Then Au should have 3 double digit win seasons in a row.

Half of Bammer's fanbase expects to win a NC every season just because they are Alabama. That might be why half of y'all don't know how many NCs were actually won.

Everything I've said has been Aubie expectations.

This is true, whether you want to believe it or not. Chiz is throwing coach speak out, but the fan base and alumni don't expect it. Until your base expects it, it won't be a regular thing.

It's easy to fall into it, when so many are so quick to gather round.

yea but he also has had some major failures. None for Chiz so far.

Why did Alabama not get a 10 win regular season last year? Coming off the National Championship and having Saban recruiting for 3 years, no way you should have lost 3 SEC games?

You may have been expecting a 10 win regular season, but that didnt make it happen.

Nice. The good ole "what do you expect him to say" response. That one is full of win...

So the fan base has more control over the team than the coaches do?

Gotcha. Knew you wouldn't disappoint.

4-8, 1-7 for the barn. Bama 8-0, 12-0.

The secondary gave up some big plays at critical moments. And SC whipped the crap out of Bama.

Comparing 3 losses, to an expected and acceptable 5 or 6 losses is

I expected 10 to 12 last season. No it didn't make it happen, but when you more is expected out of you, you tend to work harder to achieve those goals.
