Depends on the generation. Those before me would say Namath or Thomas, but Courtney Upshaw IS Alabama football to me

Has to be Namath or the kid from Miami, FL, Derrick Thomas (RIP).

Shaq and then pistol are the answers

But if mathieu could have been like them he is the best playmaker on defense I have ever screen, if he didn’t get kicked outa school and he stacked another year like his sophomore year he woulda been a Heisman winner. He shoulda won is 2011.

Well yeah, Brandon and Darren are our heroes. I wish there was a DMAC movie too. We love them all, but DMAC stands out most.

Also, Gators are my only other team i kinda root for (not in basket ball tho) because one of my Dads friends was a Gator. He sent us a pink painted hog figurine one time. Still on display in my room.

I'll post the pic if yall win 9ish games in FB this year

For football ... gotta' be the Black Josh Allen.

He was my next pick. I could also add George Blanda and Babe Parelli.

Joe Willy certainly had his day in the sun, fu manchoo mustache, white fur coat and chicks everywhere. Plus white cleats. He was definitely well known…..called his shot and backed it up….

Bo Jackson with an honorable mention to Sir Barkley.

As a Bama fan I agree. Chuck has stayed in the spotlight more than Bo and is a cool guy but Bo just screams Auburn. Would have been/could have been a Hall of Famer in two sports. Nobody like him. “Bo Knows” was iconic. Plus he’s just a good dude.

Charles is great. An all time great.

Bo is F#$KING LEGENDARY. A mythical creature with super human abilities.

John Daly is a treasure.

I have a close friend who reminds me of him. Middle aged , overweight, smokes Marlboro reds every day and drinks only Diet Coke. No water or Gatorade, just Diet Coke. Drinks a shite ton of beer and likes the nose candy. He is somehow in perfect health with no issues, has testosterone levels over 500. I swear he is a medical miracle and needs to be studied by scientists
