Bryce is doing his job well. Not really sure about anything past that.

Only an LSU fan would even consider putting Johnson in the "best QB in the league" discussion at this point.

I honestly did not know he was playing that well.

Johnson is playing very well despite the lack of protection. Boutte has picked up where he left off too.

Corral is clearly #1 for me. I'm still amazed at Johnson's stats given the crap running game and o-line.

By the way, Boutte has 12 TDs in his past 6 games. :)

Believe it or not Brennan thru 3 games last year was crazy good. Even better then Johnson so far.
I also believe Brennan has a much better arm.

All 3 LSU QBs including Nuss can win games for us as long as the Oline gets better over time.

Bryce Young: Sophomore
1,124 pass yards, 15 TDs, 1 int, 87.6 QBR

Pretty impressive for a fragile, midget per UGA fans

Corral has only played 3 games.

And hasn’t played full games in 2 of those games…..

How about KJ proving the haters wrong? He leads Corral in categories and OM hasn’t played anyone and call timeouts when up 30 before half to score. We’ve played our second and third string to call off the dogs or KJ sitting out most of 2nd half against A&M.

You are right KJ is better. In fact I am sure he could feed the masses with a simple piece of white bread and turn a keg of Shlitz into Guinness!

The thing with Johnson is to look where his plays come from….only between the hashes. As a DC’s see this on film he will get shut down.

Have any statistical evidence to back up that post? I know two of his four TDs thrown this week were outside the hashes.

Matt Corral: Junior (Heisman)
997 pass yards, 9 TDs, 0 ints, 89.3 QBR

All 3 off to a far better start than media darlings DJU, Spencer Rattler, and Sam Howell

You include other qb’s total td’s and also fail to mention Corral has played three games.

Other than that. Interesting topic for sure and I’m confused are the tigers good or bad? Your fan bases mood on a given week would make my wife proud.

Trick question. Casey Thompson. He's put up more touchdowns on the best defense in the SEC than anyone else thus far. And he did so in a little over a quarter.

No, because it's wrong. Only 18% of his passing attempts are thrown between the hashes. Based on SECStatCat, he attempted only 2 passes in between the hashes against Miss State.

The big knock on Johnson is that his lower than average success on deep passes and NOT using the middle of the field.
