thought he was an offensive analyst for saints? Isn't that coaching on the offensive side of the ball? Or am I mistaken and was he a defensive coach? Asking because I honestly don't know.

That was an interim job.

I mean its possible he's learned some things in the last 20 years...

I dont think he's an offensive genius, I think he's a good CEO of his unit much like O is with the team.

E also showed some good playcalling skills in 2019, I'd argue he's had nothing like LSU's talent at any of his previous stops.

He was a low level assistant, he broke down film, got coffee for the coaches, whatever they wanted.

Payton didnt think he was ready to even take the position he took at LSU due to lack of experience.

He is an EIU alum, like me, we're a little slow sometimes;)

Don't get me wrong, Brady is a great mind.

But those that suggest that 2019 LSU was all Brady are insinuating that he's basically the greatest coach ever.

No one builds the greatest college offense ever in one offseason by themselves with no coaching experience.

A lot of LSU fans still think we were running I formation Miles ball in 2018 for some reason.

I never said he was the best, im just saying your fanbase wanted Brady over Ensminger and was pretty disappointed when he left. That is all I was saying.

I know, I'm just making a statement.

A lot of LSU fans also think LSU will blow out Texas for some reason.

LSU led the country in avg yards gained on first down. Want to venture a guess who called first down plays? I'll give you a hint. His initials were not Joe Brady.

As for SE and his play calling. When he was the OC to finish the '16 season, LSU set an individual or team record in almost every game.

I'm not reading 6 pages to see if this has been stated, but anyone who downs E can suck a stick of dynamite. The man lost his beautiful daughter in law and he still coached this team. frick all of you who have talked your worthless shite about him.

To be fair on Briles. His dumb arse head coach at FSU literally wouldn't let them practice the offense at full speed in practice. Which may be the dumbest coaching thought process I've ever heard in CFB.

I dont recall anyone talking shite about his character and you telling random people "frick you" on a message board, because he lost a daughter in law is weird.

Like I said, plenty of LSU fans wanted him gone and wanted Brady in his place.

Well, why did LSU hire Brady if LSU was fine with him? Wasnt ED and LSU struggling to win 10 games/Season, something Les did the whole time he was there?

LSU is a lot better now than it was years ago. Your team is n't going to start beating others like it is a powerhouse school! Get use to it. You got a long way to go to see if your school will ever get to start winning again!

No I think Every QB on the roster looked like shut in the spring and that’s why a guy who didn’t know his teammates names was still a better option.

That offense was shite. E said we didn’t have enough TE and FBs for a good redzone offense.

Let that sink in.
