I'm just tired of people acting like a football lifer that was highly sought after in the past for his offensive mind, can't call 3rd down or red zone

Chavis was once great, look what he did to LSU, A&M, and Arkansas. I was just asking the simple question of who is the better OC. Obviously Briles doesnt have the experience Ensminger does, but I bet if LSU, or anyone, had the choice they would chose K Briles over Ensminger. It was a simple question that has now pissed off a few. It wasnt intended that way and I dont think that I have trolled or been unreasonable in this thread. Or have I? I mean like I said, O's first season as head coach, in full, was techically his 2nd, but you guys beat me up when I use stats from the season he took over until now. If youd like, I can go back to making LSU joke threads that dont mean shite and not use stats and call names. Again, which do you prefer?

Okay simple question. Would you rather have Brady at OC or Ensminger?

Hes letting his pride be more important at the moment because if he says Brady, it makes him look silly. Which thats fine if thats what he thinks, but I'd bet he's in the minority of that wish.

He's proven he can get it done and hire the people necessary.

Brady has very little experience.

Nah, just going from what I've seen.

Definitely in the minority though.

So is he a great hiring manager or an offensive mind? I respect your choice and reason why, fwiw.

I mean, it may be because we were 119th in Red Zone TD %.

Just hoping the football lifer learned from Brady.

If we go crazy on offense again this year, then coaches would be dumb to not run our offense.

If you watch closely, it's not complicated, hell the qb gets a read on the defense sent to him from the sidelines. What makes it hard to defend is, we had 5 players who could Ruthe whole route tree, give or take a couple here and there that moss and Clyde didn't run, but for the most part,we have 5 bad arse receivers on the field at once and we never sub, so they can't sub. So as they get tired, there packages become more and more vanilla. Then the mismatches get stupid crazy.

We out of nowhere would put chase or jj in the backfield on a d -end sometimes, for god sakes..
Dude, teams gave up. I swear to God I saw teams just go to there most basic defensive formations, and not even try anything. We got guys running wide open ,and when they are covered it doesn't matter anyway, cuz our qb was as accurate throwing off platform or running, as he was with a great pocket. Then, if it was a bad pass, it still didn't matter cuz chase is built like a brick shite house, with hops and hands.

I'm not the look at us type, but seriously, that offense was beautiful to watch. Just so precise with everything. Throwing the ball where ever the frick he wanted it to go, and jj would get it. Like the pass against Texas before halftime..

Guys, I don't know if we see it again like that.

I think he's good at bringing together different ideas from different areas and having enough humility to consider other's opinions.

Much like O.

He's also obviously a pretty good playcaller.

I don't think E is some groundbreaking offensive mind but I don't think Brady was either.

Many defensive coaches will tell you LSU's system wasnt anything special, just great playcalling and execution at the right times.

Having Burrow light it the frick up also helps

Maybe both Brady and Ensminger weren't that great and Burrow had a hell of a season.

Anyone with a brain can see what Burrow did with and without Brady.

You mean in a year where the entire unit was vastly inexperienced and the starting quarterback barely knew his teammates and coaches?

Color me shocked.

Anyone with a brain can also consider the variables in play besides Brady...
