Everything he’s done since then

Rode the success of hires he didn’t make, and now that he’s in a position to hire replacements, his inadequacies are on full display.

Heupel is his only good hire and that one looks more middling every day that passes.

Baseball and women’s hoops were atrocious decisions. He’s the highest paid AD in the league. First to introduce the 10% talent fee on top of all the other money they try to siphon from the fanbase. I could go on all day

There he is…

My favorite fake cowboy

Which of the facts that I laid out did you not like? Del Conte going an entire career without winning shite or him drunkenly embarrassing himself at the SEC Coaches Meetings?

Aggy and UTranny : “But, but, but…the Director’s Cup!”

“Stop saying that we’re just like each other! We’re not!”

What? No votes for Yuracek at Arkansas?

He's actually hired good coaches with the exception of football even though the fans (myself included) don't like him.
I actually think Silverfield may tourn out to be a good hire but Pittman was terrible.
Overall sports he's done ok.... can't seem to figure out women's basketball though.

Ole Miss was the underdog against Georgia, Miami and they would have been against Indiana as well. Regardless of the coach. Sorry no one is mentioning Virge in this thread. He's doing a good job of keeping the seat warm for whenever you decide hire a real AD instead of a Costco version.

Nick Saban is one of the all time great college football coaches of all time. His one flaw is failing to groom a successor.

Its not Saban fault. The groomed successor never works

Bear Bryant to Ray Perkins: fail
Pat Summit to Holly Warlick: fail

The best handoff was Rupp to Hall and UK fans were still mad

I think right now it has to be whoever is in charge at Georgia.

Hasn’t seen any of his men’s sports win a damn thing his entire career Hopefully he doesn’t drunkenly embarrass himself at the SEC Coaches Meeting…again.

They literally won a Men’s S&D title this past weekend because they went and hired Bob Bowman.

I think Del Conte has to be the best AD at this point in time.

What is wrong with his face, why does his suit look like something a little boy would wear to sing in Sunday school.

You always throw a lot of bs about cowboys without knowing anything about me lol.

1) Aggy hasn't won or been a part of the Directors Cup to my knowledge so not sure why you lump us together.

2) The Directors Cup is awarded to the statistically best Athletic Department, and given the Athletic Department is run by the Athletic Director (and this thread is about the best AD in the SEC) makes sense to include the award Texas has won multiple recent years as best Athletic Department.

I think I was pretty fair in my assessment of our Mens Big 3 nattys (which have been pathetic the past 20 years)
