They could have Buzz if you actually read, the two SEC coaches reported on their radar is Oats and Cal. Oats was reported today. They want a splash hire.

He will definitely put feelers out on Oates
Calipari might be intrigued
Cronin probably wants out of UCLA
Golden might want an escape hatch from the Florida off the court issues

Other coaches mentioned were the Xavier coach, the coach at Iowa State, Bill Self made the list, an alum Royal Ivey who is with the Rockets.

Bill Self? I would think he wouldn’t do that…

Honestly without Wade Taylor Buzz has not done a whole lot while there.

How bout Dawn Staley? Could they get her away from SC? That would work in Austin…

Interesting to know if the Cal rumor is true. Would think it would be a bad look for Cal to jump ship after one year. And guessing that John Tyson is the one who ultimately decides.

They were trying to sell Oats on their new arena when Bama played there.

It’s already been reported he will be let go. Some sites are already making hot boards.

No established coach wants that job. They still have egg on their face for firing Barnes.

They’ll get someone who is scandal ridden or an up & comer from the lower ranks.

Wonder why they hired him for then ? Really didn’t give him a fair chance imo … not saying it was going to work but if they thought he was the guy then why not give him 4 years ? Firing guys every two years works out well for Texas .

Time for Texas to steal another Aggie coach.

Don't worry it will be someone from another team, maybe they will come take Coach Mac from LSU.
