So its between AU and LSU. AU had the better line last year. Who is replacing the LT? Which position is LSU replacing?

Last I heard it's looking like Shon Coleman for AU.

And South Carolina.
What are your expectations for USCe this year? Personally, i think USCe is getting overlooked and will be a serious contender for the SEC title this year

Auburn had, by far, the best offensive line in the SEC in 2013.

Honestly, ugh. I see us going 10-2 again and just missing the SEC Championsip game. Win a Florida bowl game and we're 11-2. Though, 10-2 might be enough to get us to Atlanta and who knows what could happen then.

Offense should be very good despite losing Shaw and defense will take a hit but still good enough to not lose games for us. Talented but very inexperienced on the DLine and the secondary is worrisome right now.

They must have been no shows in Death Valley because all I saw was a bunch of out of shape fat asses that couldn't catch their breath

Prediction:

LSU fans will think they have the best
Bama fans will think they have the best
AU fans will think they have the best

Everyone else will say Bama has the best. They're all pretty damn good, IMO. Couldn't pick one.

Well that's false. AU Oline > Bama.

Why, they were great last year and they bring back 4 of 5. Im certainly not going to say we are better preseason. On paper they should be better. We have a few holes to fill in, and a new LT to break in our self (who may be a true freshman as well)

All I know is when Grimes was hired at LSU, one of our local ESPN radio host talked to one of your local sport talk guys to ask him about the hire an that's what he said. So one of you is is full of it. Think

We lost a high rated guard, but our LT is returning. We have a 5 star center also. I don't know much about Bama and AU's OL except you both lost LT's. LSU and Alabama always do fine with reloading on OL. It's going to be interesting to see if AU can dominate again like last year.

We have to replace a few spots but we have had 2 great recruiting classes and a Juco coming in. So you would think with all that is there to work with we would be able to find a combo that works really well. I believe we will. But you take the closest thing to a sure thing. That front 4 returning for Auburn is great and even if there left tackle struggles a bit they can run the ball a lot and use the athletic QB to negate a lot of that.

I'm a year away from even considering us in this conversation TBH. Stoutland left the cupboard pretty bare. Cristobal is bringing in a lot of talent on the oline, but they are all inexperienced.

Cam Robinson is going to be great, but I know there are going to be some growing pains with a freshman left tackle. I'm not excited about Arie Kouandjio. He gets penalized too much. Shepherd is okay, and I don't know what to think of Brown.

I don't think we've seen the oline as it will be when we get to the meat of the schedule. Ideally I'd love to see JUCO Dominick Jackson start either at right tackle or right guard. If you are a fan of oline play at all, you should do yourself a favor and watch his highlights. LINK. Beast.

Let's not stoop to aTm levels and praising players by their high school prospectivity.

Who's doing that? Cedric may - MAY - end up being better than the previous 2 left tackles, who went #2 and #6 in the draft. Younger Matthews has a year under his belt at center. Good-to-great at the other 3 positions. I think A&M's OL will be just fine, thanks.

Not a homer pick and has nothing to do with my head last touching a pillow 24 hours ago, USC's line hands down.

Idk much about USCe's Oline. Bama's line struggled last year so replacing some of those guys might be a positive. In the west I think it'll be AU with LSU a very close second. Both teams had great push last year and both are returning 4/5 starters. Who's SCs QB this season? In your opinion how does he compare to Shaw?

Carolina has the best oline coach. I don't know what they return from last year but Elliott is the freakin man. Wish we coulda got him.

Hoko Fanaika

Former JUCO AA has the edge to replace Turner.

..and all of you AU guys bashing Grimes: He's a huge upgrade over Studrawa. That alone, coupled with LSU returning 4/5 gives us the edge.
