I don’t mind anyone getting in as long as it isn’t Miami. USC probably deserves it the most since they won their last 6.

Look in a normal year yea Vandy would be a bad loss. Vandy was 3-5 in the SEC and played almost everyone a good game.

No loss is worse than Kentucky. Only State would be worse but that’s even hard to say because Kentucky would have 0 conference wins if they didn’t get to play in Oxford

You lost to a 4-8 Kentucky team at home. Ole Miss is the reason why they didn’t finish last in the SEC. That should immediately disqualify y’all.

It should be SMU since their only losses wil be to a 10-2 BYU team and the ACC champion but it will probably be Alabama or Miami for the ratings.

A lot of teams in the Big 10 and the SEC would but since they didn’t play anyone and finished 11-1 in the Big 10 they’re in.

You can’t give Kentucky their only conference win of the year and it be a home game and expect to be a playoff team.

Alabama gave OU their second conference win of the year and it was by 21 points

Losing to OU by 21 should have knocked Bama out too

Hey man, all I'm saying is the CFP is scared of Bama. Look at FSU in 2023.
They put on Bama last year because bama was the better team. Proved it by beating Georgia in the SECCG.

Never mind the 63-3 massacre afterwards.

I don't think anyone wants to play South Carolina right now. Would love to see them get in and F somebody up.

We will find out a lot tomorrow night.

If Miami stays in front of Bama in the rankings tomorrow, it's Miami.....I think this is most likely.

Otherwise, it's Bama. They already established the order among the Cocks, Rebels and Tide last week. They won't alter that order at all.

I wouldn't be surprised if SC went to the top 3 loss team.

You just can't put Ole Miss in there with a home loss to Kentucky and a loss to UF.

You just can't put SC in there with a blowout loss at home to Ole Miss.

You just can't put Alabama in there with a blowout loss to Oklahoma.

Carolina wasn't the top 3 loss team last week.

They won't jump the two 3 loss teams immediately ahead of them that they lost to head to head.

It's Miami, Bama or maybe SMU if the mustangs lose a close one to Clemson.

So if SMU beats Clemson, there will be two spots available for Miami, Bama, OM and SC?

That means you could have Bama and SC in the playoff as both are ahead of Miami in the AP Poll?

No if SMU wins, there is 1 spot open for Miami, Alabama, SC or Ole Miss. If Clemson wins, SMU probably gets the 12th spot

USC or Ole Miss deserve it. Bama or Miami will get it off brand.

Who has the best wins and the worst losses of this group:

USCe - Good Wins (Clemson 9-3), (Missouri 9-3), (aTm 8-4) / Bad Losses (LSU 8-4)...that loss wouldn't really be a "bad loss"...but it's the worst one they have.

Ole Miss - Good Wins (Georgia 10-2), (USCe 9-3), / Bad Losses (UF 7-5),(UK 4-8)

Bama - Good Wins (Georgia 10-2), (USCe 9-3), (MIZZOU 9-3), Bad Losses (Vandy 6-6), (OU 6-6)

Miami - Good Wins (Louisville 8-4) / Bad Losses (GT 7-5), (Syracuse 9-3)

Summary
USCe - lost head-to-head to both Bama and Ole Miss and both of their best wins were over 3 loss teams. - But, their only losses were to 8 win teams or better. So-so wins, and not bad losses, the head-to-head losses would be the only thing that could keep them out.

Ole Miss - The only team in this group to have a loss to a team that finished below 0.500. Again...head-to-head win over USCe should help them...and a huge win over Georgia...neither will be enough to off-set the loss to a horrible Kentucky team in Oxford.

Bama - Best combined wins of the group, but losing to teams that are barely bowl eligible is hard to overcome.

Miami - If your best win is over an 8-4 team and you lost to the only other moderately good teams on your schedule...you shouldn't be there. They really needed to beat Syracuse to get into the championship game.

Louisville isn't a good win. Syracuse isn't a bad loss.
