LSU.

Against our worst defense in Auburn history, LSU struggled to score.

If their defense is really in a rebuilding project and Gus gets our offense moving, I could see us upsetting LSU in Baton Rouge.

At least, I see us upsetting LSU much more so than I see us beating Alabama, Georgia, or Texas A&M.

Looking back on the series since 2000, I am struck at how Auburn has only beaten LSU with defense. Auburn has not won a game against LSU in which LSU scored more than 17 points. My personal opinion is that Auburn is going to have to get their defense back on track before it will take down LSU.

Don't think we upset any of them at this point in the year, but if I had to rank them in order, I'd say:

LSU (weakest of the four)
UGA (at home)
Bama (rivalry game)
Tamu (just don't see us keeping up with them)

Going to be tough to upset any of those, but I guess I will go with UGA because it is at home and late in the season. Most teams improve as the year goes on, but especially those with a first year qb which I expect will be us next year.

I doubt it.

Nobody is worried about Mike Leach's squad, to my knowledge. Maybe in past years with a Gene Chizik formed defensive squad, but not anymore. They averaged 25 yards rushing per game last season (averaged 1.4 yards per carry), finished 108th overall in points scored, and 101st in points given up. That's not a recipe for success. Also throw in the chance of them starting 4 of 5 walk-ons at offensive line.

Auburn will be much improved and has the definite superiority at talent.

Without cross-referncing those four schedules, does Auburn play any one of them after that team has had a tough, physical game the week before? (the Bama/LSU game the week prior to the A&M upset of Bama the next week type of situation)

Most likely A&M. Second most likely LSU.

Sumlin's never played Malzahn before.
