My problem with Spurrier was all the immature jabs and shots he took with other programs. That's was just childish and he's supposed to be a role model to these young players. That sure was setting a good example for them. And as a UGA fan, if Smart were to say some of the crap SS did to the media about our rivals, I would be angry with him too. Maybe I'm just old school or something but I thought that was very unbecoming a grown man.
Never been a more perfect time for this gif....

We all have players like that. Trolls will troll. Ignore 'em.

I know but screwing up this bad after only a month. What happened to football programs assigning a babysitter to these guys.
They can't be with them 24/7. Look what Stetson Bennett did 3 months before the NFL Draft. Kids don't always make good decisions. A lot of adults don't either.

What those jabs at other programs were great. The only thing immature about his jabs was whenever it fell apart he walked away and didn’t cash the checks his mouth wrote. That’s the stain on spurrier, sore winners are hilarious, sore losers are weak

Spurrier's quips were one of the things that made college football in the SEC great. Infinity better than Kirby's profanity laden tirades.

I also played for one of the most successful coaches in the state of Georgia and he was a great Christian man. He got on to coaches that used profanity. I loved that man, but he was not the norm.
The difference? Kids have phones and record everything today.

Spurrier was an egotistical, arrogant arse.

Have any SEC East programs had a player who chopped someone to pieces with a machete?

Worse, and you’re a gator
