Lol. Mullen made it one sided? Are you retarded? UK owned State. Mullen brought the all time series into .500 territory. Until Mullen, it WAS one sided. In Kentucky's favor. JFC.

Not even that, they are just always really good and our games with them are very spirited to say the least. Watching them would make you think the players hate each other even though the coaches are good friends.

....and the whistler.

UGA is paired with Auburn so obviously yes.

My wife is an Auburn alum though, so I wouldn't want to see the UGA/AU game go away just from that aspect.

One of us inevitably has one or two drinks too many, we scream about divorce, I sleep on the couch, then the next day apologize.

And I get the satisfaction of knowing that Auburn has only beaten UGA three times since we even met each other.

I mean....

Let’s be honest....98.5% of all the SEC is, was, and ever will be in football is right there. There ain’t much to GAS about outside this little circle of hate anyway. But the Mississippi’s have a chance again to be interesting with these new coaches.

I'll never see A&M as a rival and it has nothing to do with currently being 0-6 vs. them. It's just a dumb forced game as the two last teams to pair together in this stupid system.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, it was one sided during the Mullen years but Stoops has leveled it out recently. This was what I was trying to say. Just speaking of the games recently.

For 2 schools who are this close in proximity there is not a lot of history between them. While the first game between the schools was way back in 1906, they have only played each other 5 times prior to joining the SEC and 2 of those were bowl games.

When both schools are doing well in basketball then yes. This will be a heated rivalry. In football no.

In football we have, at best, two rivals in the SEC and both are secondary rivals. Ole Miss and A&M. It is what it is.

Sounds like you've made good arguments FOR them.

Well I am sure the hope is to create new rivals, and since we are stuck with this for the time being, we may as well get to hating one another properly. Also it is funny how quickly rivalries can develop, especially when your teams are doing well.

I think UF-LSU has become a rivalry, even though we were possibly heading there on our own as we were playing every year since 1971. It is definitely must see TV when we play in any of the major sports and some of the most competitive games as well.

I would say yes... kind of. LSU is sort of there as a rival but well behind Georgia and FSU for Florida.

Carolina will never be a rival to A&M. They're 1,000 miles away, aren't a great road trip destination, and have zero common history with A&M. Add to that the fact they have never beaten A&M, and have little hope of ever being competitive with most other SEC programs unless Spurrier invents a fountain of youth, and no, this will never be a rivalry anyone cares about.

Only because Tennessee decided to stop playing football after the turn of the century; otherwise it'd be #1

Define competitive. Is that paying your coach $7.5 million a year and going 7-5?

No matter what definition we give the term, 4-8 in the East will NEVER meet it. Lol.

only because y'all could actually win a game against them occasionally. A&M owns y'all.

Not a rivalry. Arkansas is basically a rent-a-win on our schedule each year. We’re forced to schedule more competitive opponents like Wyoming to make up for it.
