Who are your basketball rivals?

These are teams that are not your primary football rivals and perferably teams that either focus on basketball or they are a mid major without a football team. However it is not exclusive to that specific scenario.
1. Memphis- Kind of the silent Rivalry. The teams have refused to schedule each other since the 1980's and their meeting in the 2008 NCAA tournament in which #1 Memphis came back to squeeze past Mississippi State is why they are #1 on my list.
2- Cincinnati- The teams recently played a home and home and the most notable matchup is that of the 1996 Elite Eight in which Mississippi State defeated the Bearcats to make the Final Four.
3-Xavier- The 2004 SEC Champions Mississippi State season was cut off by a team that they defeated in the regular season. In one of the most frustrating endings to one of the best seasons of MSU Basketball, watching it end like that is brutal.
4- Alabama- I had to make an exception for Alabama with the whole Gottfried-Stansbury Rivalry that has both fanbases at each other's throats to this day. I understand the football series is considered a minor one since the schools are the two closest in the SEC and it is Alabama's most played opponent. But both schools consider this a major basketball Rivalry and for me personally it means more than any other SEC Opponent does. I am super glad we play twice every year as it should be.
Honorable Mentions- Butler, Massachusetts

Duke, North Carolina, Louisville and Kansas (Blue blood 5).
In the SEC really just Florida, maybe UT when they are good.

In the SEC, it's always been Florida, Kentucky and Vanderbilt.
Memphis is our perennial OOC rival.

LSU (even though they can't beat us)

That’s right. We didn’t sweep y’all last year and we didn’t split the series this year

I personally don't like Arkansas, but that's in every sport. I do enjoy playing them though, most of the time it's a good game. (In every sport)

Yup.
UK, UF & VU in conference.
Memphis OOC.
*Barnes has a winning record vs all 4 since taking over.

Indiana & Louisville until Tom Crean fricked up everything and refused to extend the IU/UK series

UofL is the only one I consider a rival.

I think this is about the best compliment I could give - It’s not but I wish it was KY and without going all glory days, it was for a brief moment in time. *gaspswithforlornstareintothedistance*
No one really, I’ll always when thinking of Duke or NC but they’re not rivals per se, just can’t stand those bitches.

We've always sucked in basketball so our rivals are the other teams that historically suck too like MSU, Auburn, and LSU.

Straight from wiki
I'd say most of our fans enjoy the Kentucky series, LSU, Mizzou and South Carolina.
Outside of the SEC, I'd say UNC, Duke, Texas - even if it isn't a traditional rival/played series.

In basketball, the primary rival for the Razorbacks in the SEC are the Wildcats of the University of Kentucky. This rivalry developed in the 1990s during the coaching tenures of Rick Pitino at Kentucky and Nolan Richardson at Arkansas when both Kentucky and Arkansas were annually in competition for a national title.

Thanks. That was a great rivalry those first years after Arkansas came into the SEC, just didn’t last. And Arky fans were unlike anything I’d seen in their team support and enthusiasm

It used to be KY in our heydays
We've just been sucking it up so long, we don't really have one now.
