I'll go with one of the 4 teams on that list that have won an SEC title in the last half century.

The SEC schedule you are playing is brand new. Imagine if you had to beat LSU, Bama, and Ole Miss just to get the shot at beating UGA?

Uga vs. Texas in the title game with uga winning- then they meet again in the playoffs and TX wins in a heartbreaker

As UGA plays Texas in the regular season, it would be the 3rd meeting if this happened.

Either the sec isn't what you think it is, or we have a soft schedule. Can't be both.

Yes it can, if you end up avoiding most of the good teams. That would be hard to do if you were part of the SEC West, but - by some measure of luck - Texas joins the same year divisions are dissolved.

Will be UGA/LSU in the title game.

I’ve got those two along with Texas and Ole Miss making the playoff

Goodness help the rant if we wake up tomorrow and we find ourselves in a new ice age. The two are equally likely.

Sure, no SEC team ever has their schedule questioned.

So you're basically saying what everyone outside the SEC has known for a long time. The top 2-3 (#3 changes from year to year) teams in the SEC are on average better than the top 2-3 in other conferences, but once you get past those teams it's just a bunch of nut riders wearing SEC patches on their jersey.

Not quite, pretty sure every SEC team but Vandy is in the top 40 recruiting rankings annually. That's a BIG step up.

It's been mentioned on a number of threads here recently, usually in response to Tex jerkoffs like yourself :)

Trying to be unbiased - Ole Miss is solid value.

Texas will lose 3+ games.

Alabama too high. We lose all games this upcoming year. Except to LSU.

The big difference is the talent level at lower level schools in the SEC.

Right now in the SEC, Vandy is the only team with sub-par talent where a top talent team (of which I include both Texas and OU) can simply show up and get a win.

Other than Vandy, the lowest talent composite team from the SEC last year was Arkansas, at 32nd in the nation. For comparison that's above every big 12 team last year other than Texas, OU and TCU. The next closest was TExas Tech at 40th.

When Texas or OU is "on" for a game, they can beat any SEC team. But unlike in the Big 12, if they're "off" against lesser teams, they're more likely to pick up an extra loss or two because you can't just ride a huge talent gap with poor performance to a win.

Unless you're playing Vandy. They're the exception.

For comparison, Vandy is 58th in the talent composite, just behind OkSU at 55th and WVU at 50th and ahead of Kansas at 62nd and KSU at 68th.

Still will be harder than any schedule you’d have in the Big 12. You guys couldn’t even beat Washington. Bad.
