UF as of today simply because of the coaching change. If rumor are true that Alleva is soon to retire from LSU, I would think the new AD (Woodward) would want to make a change at HC.

So basically LSU won't regain relevancy until some major changes occur. So UF.

Our AD and President seem to be happy as long at the Athletic Department turns a profit. If they can turn said profit and save on hiring a coach, then they feel justified. With the continued decrease in season ticket renewals over the past three years, I don't see how they will last long at the top, but it's Louisiana, so we'll see...

To make it to Atlanta? Florida.

Florida hired a better coach than UT did.
LSU has to contend with better teams in the West.

Florida. Better coach now, weaker division.

Eta: I meant Florida is in a weaker division than LSU.

Dont even know why UT is one of the options.

I'd have to assume UT is Texas and not Tennessee because I don't understand why Tennessee is even part of this conversation. And UT Texas will never rebound because they burned their own conference by accepting the espn Long Horn Network deal which forced A$$ToMouth to leave for SEC....aTm will out recruit them every year or at a minimum aTm and LSU will steal 70% of the recruits that used to go to UT without thought.

It can only be UF because "regain relevance" rules out UT or LSU since they cannot regain what they never had.

Florida would be the safest bet. Dan Mullen is the best head coach out of the group, Florida is located in a weaker division and he has proven to be a winner even at a smaller school.

LSU has “O” and will be behind Auburn and Alabama for the foreseeable future, and Tennessee seems cursed.
