re: What foods to eat when breaking a fast?
Posted by Presidio on 12/21/20 at 7:28 pm to lsufanintexas
This is my routine for a 5 - 8 day fast, shorter fasts I'll shave 1/2 day off but if this is your first take it easy on entry/exit.
Sometimes you have to experiment to see what works best for your system. For me, when I'm entering and exiting a fast I do a couple days of raw fruits/vegetables and non-whey protein shakes. After the exit when I move to something greasy or heartier like fried food or steak, I'll eat about half what I'd normally eat if it's within a few days of breaking the fast.

"opt outs", better known as quitters should result in revocation of scholarship benefits and the individuals should be billed the full amount.

both are a joke, they didn't risk player injury and fatigue of a full season

If OSU gets rewarded by playing a limited schedule with weak-arse games then why should anyone else play a full schedule and face hard teams?

I can tell you that would take all of about 30 seconds to prove.
Go for it, haven't had my morning laugh yet.

I just just traced your IP address. I’ll be knocking on your door shortly.
If you think you have my actual IP address then be my guest. :rotflmao:

Couldn’t they bust you before then with constructive intent?
Not without a valid warrant and probably not even then.

Yup. Probably not a good idea to admit intent on a public forum either.
Good luck tying anything I post here to an actual persons identity.
Ex post facto laws are expressly forbidden by the United States Constitution in Article 1, Section 9, Clause 3 (with respect to federal laws) and Article 1, Section 10 (with respect to state laws).
The braces I have can be added/removed in about 10 seconds and the range I use is deep into national forest land. If / when it becomes necessary to use these weapons in a real-world setting then I could give a frick what ATF thinks about it because ATF likely won't continue to exist in its current form afterward.

1. It's a couple of miles down the road. Will I have any issues driving myself there and back?
Shouldn't be a problem, they usually won't let you just jump up and take off encouraging you to hang around a bit to assess any effects (like being dizzy).

2. Other than the social utility, are there any benefits to donating blood from a health standpoint?
Donating can lower your hematocrit levels and that can be useful if they're too high. Hematocrit is essentially the viscosity or thickness of your blood, too much can be bad.

3. Are there any drawbacks or adverse health effects to donating blood?
On the other hand donating drops your iron levels and too frequently can drop them to the point of leaving you fatigued and other issues. I typically donate no more than once/qtr.

I went to a Mexican style restaurant tonight. A guy is my server and takes ten minutes to bring my drink. I had an ok meal but the server is leaning by the register and checking his phone the whole time. His coworkers are busting arse with other customers. The guy never checks on me and never refills my drink. Just hands me the check. I’m pissed at this point and I just give him a 20 % tip on a $25 meal.
That's a zero tip from me
Ohio State way too high

Bill Murray in The Razor's Edge
Even more surprised when I learned later than he only agreed to do Ghostbusters if the studio would finance him to make The Razor's Edge
Really good movie BTW
ETA:
Robin Williams in One Hour Photo
Robert De Niro as a cross dressing pirate in Stardust
Sean Connery in Zardoz

re: Anyone have any experience with airedale terriers?

I've always liked Airedales and have enjoyed the ones I've spent time with but never owned one so can't add much there.
As for non-shedding though, take a look at Standard or Giant Schnauzers. Very different from the toy miniatures. Giants are kinda goofy like a Great Dane, great family members but also very protective against outsiders. I've had a Giant before and he was a wonderful dog. He forgot he wasn't so little anymore and still wanted in my lap and loved to be babied, but also loved to have a job to do and would give his life if needed to protect his family. I'd love to have one again when my daughter gets a little older but would also consider a Standard. The Giant is frankly a lot of dog and that comes with a bigger food bill and waste issues. Standard has all the benefits of the Giant without being quite so big.
