I think South Carolina will be a factor in the east before UT or Florida.

Mullen has proven he can be a head coach.
Now he has a recruiting base.

UT

Not sure on Pruitt, he can clearly coach D. I’m just not so sure about HC. His temperament and maturity, is questionable sometimes.
Plus UT is a hard job when your rivals are rolling because you have such a recruiting disadvantage.

LSU
I like Ed O for some reason. I think he can motivate, just not sure he can actually build a program. Plus Alabama & Auburn and say what you will about Jimbo; the guy can recruit and coach. Even if AM doesn’t nock off Bama, they will causes issues for the rest of the West most impactful on LSU.

If I had to guess, I would guess Florida then LSU then Tennessee.

Auburn blew a 20-0 lead to Ed Orgeron. The same Ed Orgeron who lost to Troy.

Ed may very well be the worst coach in the SEC, possibly in the history of the SEC. But as long as AU has Gus, we at least have a fighting chance against you guys.

If I was a fan of another SEC team, I’d like Ed at LSU too.

Tennessee done forever in football. LSU employs a real life Swamp Donkey as its head football coach. Florida I guess by default. But if Mullen bombs, which is very possible, LSU will likely have the advantage of its next hire coming before UF's.

If Coach O gets the recruiting class in 2019 that is out there for him to (4 or 5 five*), that will help tip the scale for the near future.

UF played in the SECCG twice in the last 3 years . You make it sound like none of teams have been to the SECCG recently. UF is the favorite to make the SECCG first . UF plays in a division with one other good program while LSU has multiple good programs in the West .

Your denial of reality is hilarious. You are behind both Georgia AND South Carolina. Those 2 SEC East titles you validate your claim by were primarily won with Muschamp's recruits.

I say LSU BECAUSE it is in a stronger division. More chance of winning a tie-breaker in a year when the top three beat each other up.
