Bama or LSU? ONe coming off a high and the other coming off a huge emotional low.

We might come out flat but State is cursed against us. They've beaten us once since I've been alive.

Worried about Bama because LSU is going to destroy state unfortunately.

Bama - Don't kid yourself, as emotional a loss as it was for LSU, it was a hugely emotional win for Bama (re: AJ crying). Bama got punched in the mouth last week and the air of invincibility is gone. A&M will be galvanized having played LSU and Florida very close and now they know they have a chance to pull off the upset with a signature win.

LSU - heart breaking loss but proved themselves to be as good or better than the #1 team in the country. Passing game looked much improved and will ride that confidence into an easy W against the grinders.

JMO.

Still think Bama beats A&M but it won't be much different from the way LSU or Florida beat A&M - will be a close game. LSU and Bama are both better than their opponents this week but I think Bama gets the shorter end of the psychological/emotional stick.

Between the two I would say LSU only b/c they are coming off a hard loss in which they were in a great position to win.

For Bama, I have a feeling you are going to see a pissed off defense wanting to make up for how they played last weekend.

Bama homerism at its finest. Did you forget how emotional AJ was after the game...

Bama could just as easily have an emotional letdown.

To be fair regarding this psychological stick was supposed to be in yalls favor last week as well and it kept you in the game but didn't help In the end

So what you're saying is that LSU fans were correct?

And to say it "kept (LSU) in the game" is a tad bit of an understatement considering we beat the shite out of Bama in the 2nd half and squandered the W in the last minute of the game.

A&M isn't physical or deep enough to beat Bama. Period. A&M's starters are really good on def, but after that , there is a huge drop off in talent. A&M doesn't have 240 lb fast rb( hill) running behind a 275 lb animal( Copeland) and Bama will use the same gameplan that LSU and UF did, which is stay in your lanes and don't get up field. JM is best , outside the pocket. If Bama can keep him there, Bama wins easily.

It's actually called an opinion. And had Alabama lost instead of won, I would be saying that we are more prone to a let down.

Or are you still upset about us making Tebow cry?

I agree with this. I think LSU struggles against State, and could lose.

I think you are severely overrating your defense. Johnny Football is gonna give your defense a ton of problems. A&M has 10x the offense that LSU does.

Prediction:

1. LSU gets out to an early lead and struggles to barely hang on. 3 point LSU win. 17-14

2. Bama struggles early on. Losing at half. Bama running game has two 8+ minute drives in the second half that deflate A&M. 10 point Bama win. 34-24

We will just have to agree to disagree on this one.
