New ACC Official Penn Wagers now working ACC games.

Will it be...

UGA
SC
UF

I imagine he will be begging for the UGA v GT game so he can stick it to the SEC, UGA, and CMR in 2015. He will be highly motivated and wanting revenge.

We do not allow ACC officials at our stadium after the Swindle in the Swamp of 2003. So the down will never remain at the Swamp.

We've got Louisville in Commonwealth on the 28th. Could be there.

Don't they use refs from a conference besides the two involved in the game for OOC games?

Pretty sure it won't be an acc or sec crew for those games.

Wrong. For UGA/GT SEC refs in Athens and ACC in Atlanta. It was the opposite till 2012. I think it is the same for UF/FSU and USCe/CU but you will have to ask them to be sure.

The Jack in the background was a nice touch.

I met Penn Wagers at the Players Championship this year. Super nice guy. I was wearing a Bama hat and he just came up and started talking football with us.

That's because Bama is usually on the good side of shite officiating.

F that.

Btw- that was the game I decided instant replay was worthless.

That is only/typically only for bowl games.

Regular season OOC games typically use the visiting team's conference officials, although in recent years the trend has been to using the home team's conference officials.

I think this holds true even for the neutral site season openers.

It should be done like the nfl where the head ref makes the call.

It is, as stated earlier, we kicked ACC officials out of The Swamp awhile ago.
