We left the SWC to get away from schools like "Rice".

Then we get over here and what's this Vanderbilt misfit?

Not even the Big 12 had a tag-along joke as bad as Vanderbilt.

You could've done yourself (and all of us) a favor and stayed put in the Big 12

University of Kroger.

1. Teams SUCK. They are not even good at basketball anymore.
2. Facilities SUCK. Stadium named after a grocery store.
3. Stoops is the most overrated and overpaid coach.
4. Fan base sucks arse. Obnoxious crybabies in person. Trolls and spammers in sports forums.

You nearly lost to Vanderbilt football in your first season in conference and are the only team in the SEC to have a losing record against them.

As far as I'm concerned, y'all are the biggest Southwestern freeloaders that have come over here.

You went full little brother following A&M over here.

Vanderbilt was at the forefront of college sports in the south, and if it wasn't for Tennessee, y'all would be a bunch of baby Santa Annas. You even copied their colors.

Vandy is probably the worst just from lack of competitive teams. Others that would suck auburn(having the two best coaches in different cfb eras at your rival would suck). ATM(largely lives in Tex shadow. Despite having elite program dna has never been more than average). Usce(little bro absolutely dominates you in football, program underachieves given resources not quite aggy level but close). Miss state(resource wise just not the same as other sec programs, every sport is an uphill battle)

Edit-being a vandy fan wouldn’t be bad at all, none are sidewalk so while sports might be trash you’d definitely be pretty wealthy.

Arkansas. I love my sister but not the way that Arkansas fans love their sisters.

Yeah its gotta be A&M. On top of constantly being made fun of for being weird and gay, you also never win anything important.

Has to be Vandy. The only sport they are competitive in is completely ruined by the whistler.

Totally disagree on Vandy. I wish I was a Vandy fan so I could experience the zen of not giving two shits about college sports.

I’ve always wondered if programs like that have actual die hard fans that just lose their minds year after year of sucking

It is much pride that at no family function, get-together or reunion are there any UAT fans, zealots or alums present. So let's just say what most people think about the University of Alabama. Its football pursuits in particular justify its identity with an uneducated backward white population and a symbolic link to the Lost Cause they hold so dear. Much in the same way as D.W. Griffith’s movie The Birth of a Nation encouraged the worst elements of southern society a hundred years ago; Bama football still encourages a similar backward behavior from a large segment of its fan base. Today. Crimson Tide sports are an outlet for lunatic fringe fans (Harvey Updyke et al) and gives them a venue to be recognized. Would not want to be associated with UAT in any way, shape, form or fashion!
