2013 was as good as it gets for the first 3 quarters. Whichever team won was going to the Natty. Unfortunately for us Auburn pulled away in the fourth, but an entertaining game overall.

Vegas actually favored Mizzou in that game (-2.5), but I get what you're saying.

Lsu was down 10-0, and then scores 42 unanswered against UGA. Honey badger had an amazing game

Yeah I passed over that one because it was over by the start of the 4th quarter from what I remember.

I watched that in a bar in Augusta, GA and I remember everyone in the bar feeling uneasy at halftime like they didn’t seize their chance (I thought so too) and we were all right

As everyone is proving in this thread, the team you personally root for factors in heavily to your feelings on this topic.

I mean...there are objectively better SEC Championship Games than others. That 34-7 win over Florida in the 1999 SEC Championship was brilliant if you were an Alabama fan but a snoozer if you were a fan of any other team in the conference. The 2008, 2012, and 2018 SEC Championship Games were objectively some of the most exciting back and forth football games of the last 20 years.

2012. Best third quarter of any game I’ve seen. Georgia was five yards short of a National Championship. Pretty much summed up Mark Richt’s career. So close, but yet so far.

1992 (Alabama-Florida 1)set the bar impossibly high in the context of which it was held as well as the dramatic pick 6 to settle the game.

Outside of the 2 or 3 that are clearly the best 2012, 1992, 2001, I really thought the 97 game between Auburn & UT was an amazing game.

And it was also the coldest game I’ve ever been to. Never seen more empty liquor bottles leaving a game

The overlooked ones that were really good we're

- 1994 Florida/Alabama - Spurrier calling the bomb first play after the QB injury

- Tennessee's 1997 and 1998 games vs State and Auburn were both really good games where Tennessee had to come back late to win against underdogs

- 2001 LSU/Tennessee which ended one programs glory and began anothers

- 2013 Auburn/Missouri which ended in double digits but was wild and back and forth for 3 quarters

2012 Alabama/Georgia is one of the 2-3 best, most edge of my seat for 4 entire quarters football games I've ever attended. So many big plays by both teams, so many great players, so momentum swings literally down to the last second of the game.

2018 with Jalen Hurts flipping the script on the previous season's NC game was an incredible storyline... Hollywood type stuff.

2012 was one of the most intense games ever though. 1992 right up there as well.

2012 or 201

Only a few have had national title implications for both teams. These were the 2 best games of those.
