If OU came to the SEC, they might end the year above .500. The defenses OU play against are an absolute joke and it will be exposed when Georgia skull drags OU across the field

16 national titles, 6 Heismans, best winning percentage since ww2.....you are a retard

Are you trying to match Alabama?

OU will never be able to do it

LINK

and that does NOT include the last NC Alabama has won

LINK

Winner- Alabama

cherry picking a time frame for wins?....

Alabama is tops in wins for the last 100 years...

LINK

and I can find other time frames that say Alabama has the most wins and winning %, so can just about any school....

But the truth is

LINK

and Alabama has 28 more victories on the field that are not counted in those lists....

Like I said, OU plays in the weakest conference (look at the teams OU plays and their total wins, and winning %)

and OU has a losing record to the top 13 winningest schools, unlike Alabama who has a winning record, and has played them 100+ times more.

I would give up on those Heisman's, it is a popularity contest, not the best football player...and it has been that way since around the 1950's (or do you agree that in 1956 – Paul Hornung quarterback, Notre Dame, who went 2-8, was the best player? How about last year, you say Lamar Jackson was better than Deshaun Watson?......)

Facts are your friend......

Let's not act like butthurt Vol fans and say it doesn't matter though. All the blue blood programs display theirs front and center alongside their national titles (including Alabama).

West Virginia. Horrible fans, a mediocre team, and poor academics.

That is true, but it still is a popularity contest, and I think that plays into it.

Like I said to an Ohio State fan, "you would trade every single Heisman for one more national title, as would the player who own it,if they did not win the NC that year."

This is true. Ohio State has a long and excellent history on the gridiron, but they have had more than enough opportunities to win several more championships. Miss Again usually knocked them out before they got a chance. And then Florida ramshackled them when the Gators had Urban and LSU punked then the next year. But that was during an era when the SEC was so dominant that fans may never see that kind of dominance again. There is no way people who were watching couldn’t say that the SEC was king of the football world for a good ten year period. This year they got two teams in the playoff. Rightly so. The Buckeyes choked against Iowa. They didn’t deserve the seat at the table. But I also think that people are smart enough to know that other conferences can at least compete now. And as many games as Meyer has won for OSU, he is too stubborn to go with the hot hand. SEC coaches who are in charge of top tier teams don’t hesitate to go for the jugular. I definitely respect that about them.

I lived in Texas for 5 years. I loved it and hope to move back one day.

My answer is Texas. They have the shittiest group of fans in college football.

Some truth in that statement. However, UNC is more closely aligned with UVA
