If Arkansas' whorehopping coach hadn't taken that motorcycle ride, I think the Razorbacks would probably be the best team in the SEC. I despise that fricker but Petrino may be the best coach in college football.

He could definitely have moved the piggies into the elite half of the conference, probably to the top.

Whichever non Big 6 school has the best average recruiting the years leading up to the current year. That is currently Ole Miss, due to cheating. They were close last year. A&M behind them. Then Arkansas/South Carolina. Then State/Mizzou. Then Kentucky/Vanderbilt.

Assuming the "Big 6" is LSU, Tenn, Georgia, Florida, Bama, and Auburn:
Vandy? No way in hell
Arky? Only made one SECCG
Mizzou? Have won the east several times since joining.
A&M? Keeps collapsing at the end of the year
Kentucky? They play football?
South Carolina? They've been before and have a coach who has too. Totally possible in a couple years.
Ole Miss? Maybe if the game was still segregated.

I would put A&M behind Ole Miss, Mizzou, South Carolina, and Ole Miss as far as liklihood. I'd put them just a nudge ahead of Arky with Vandy and Kentucky tied in distant last place.

Not as much as I enjoy watching your program suffer in the doldrums of irrelevancy.

A&M came pretty close to winning the West their first year in conference

If A&M had stepped into the GA Dome in 2012 no doubt in my mind UGA would have made it a blowout.

Which year do you think you would have won the SEC in the 90's?

Of the programs that have won an AP National Title since 1990, the average capacity of their stadiums is nearly 93,000. The only stadium that seats under 82,000 would be Miami's new stadium, which isn't even on campus. They are also (along with Nebraska) the least likely to win another one in the next decade or so...... mostly because of a lack of fan support.

I'm sorry but you don't see programs with little stadiums win National Titles these days. It's an indicator of the type of money, fan support, and commitment to winning a program has.

Why don't you line up program winning percentage over the last decade and correlate it with stadium size. You'll see a very clear correlation.

We will never know though but to think if A&M played in the SEC under Sherill and RC in the 80's and 90's would not have won at least 1 SEC Championship is being a little too SEC biased

Well I thought you would propose a year or three when you had a good team and then I may or may not agree with you.

Big 7

Maybe we should, since we have 14 teams now.
Ole Miss is the only logical choice.

Ha! You want to compare programs? We'll go back to 1992 so it will be an apples-to-apples comparison.

OVERALL WINS
213- Georgia (#8 nationally)
160- Arkansas (#42 nationally)

OVERALL WINNING PERCENTAGE
70.7%- Georgia (#9 nationally)
54.9%- Arkansas (#45 nationally)

SEC WINS
124- Georgia (3rd in the SEC)
86- Arkansas (7th in the SEC)

SEC WINNING PERCENTAGE
63.2%- Georgia (3rd in the SEC)
44.6%- Arkansas (8th in the SEC)

SEC CHAMPIONSHIPS
2- Georgia
0- Arkansas

SEC DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIPS
5- Georgia
3- Arkansas

AP POLL POINTS
228- Georgia (#10 nationally, tied with USC)
65- Arkansas (#40 nationally, one spot behind BYU)

WEEKS SPENT RANKED IN THE TOP 25:
274- Georgia (#9 nationally)
90- Arkansas (#44 nationally)

HEAD-TO-HEAD SERIES RECORD:
8-2, Georgia leads

I'd say that's absolute domination on all fronts. The debate about Georgia is whether our lack of a National Title keeps us from being a Top 10 program over the past quarter century... which every statistic aside from National Titles points toward. The debate about Arkansas is whether your program makes the Top 40. But we'll let you Hogs hash that out with the fans of BYU and Washington State to see who fills that last Top 40 spot. So you if you are at Georgia's relevancy to the sport, what exactly is your reaction to Arkansas' relevancy? I'd love to see it.

This is the best answer to both questions.
If a "7" was added (and it should) = OM
If a non Big 6 were to win = OM

Edit: I still hate frickin OM
