Not as much heartbreaking as infuriating because I know our own head coach put us in that position. I knew it during the game.

Yeah, I'd say Alabama has done pretty, pretty good in national title games.

1966 Orange Bowl W
1972 Orange Bowl L
1979 Sugar Bowl W
1993 Sugar Bowl W
2010 BCSCG W
2012 BCSCG W
2013 BCSCG W
2016 CFPCG W
2017 CFPCG L
2018 CFPCG W

1973 Sugar Bowl L (#1 Bama 23, #3 Notre Dame 24)

Good game with a disappointing result for me. That was the last game that I can remember attending at Tulane Stadium.

Arkansas? Or are you just ignoring that one because, well, it's football season and real men only talk football during football season?

For the players Arkansas might be the most frustrating, but from a fan perspective I feel like the majority of people clearly care about football more than baseball.

But I originally didn’t see that one, and I know that didn’t feel great by any means.

Of course I'm biased, so I'm going with 2013 AU. FSU's D was just as gassed as ours by the end of the game, maybe TOO gassed...if ANY of their guys grabbed one of Tre Mason's shoelaces, he gets tackled and Auburn probably scores 3-4 plays later with no time on the clock. Instead...well, you know the rest

At this point all I can think is "can't win 'em all" when we lose anymore.

This is where I am with regards to Alabama football. I like to win, want to win, expect to win, and celebrate accordingly. But Saban has been so successful over the last decade it’s not a soul crushing sort of deal when Bama loses (tOSU 2014, Clemson 2016) like it would be if they hadn’t won anything in decades. Every team that has beaten Bama since Saban has been in Tuscaloosa earned the victory. Sometimes you just gotta tip your hat to the other team for making the plays when they needed them.

LSU's program was broken on 1/9/12.

I’ll get downvoted d but I didn’t think Bama was going to win in 2016 and was shocked they had controlled the game for as long as they did. It was not as devastating as I would have thought.

If 2010 didn’t happen I would have said 2013 (as an auburn fan). I actually took it really well and I was in the stands at the Rose bowl.

Arkys loss would trigger the hell out of me today.

2013 Auburn wasn’t that bad, you could feel it the whole second half. That was the start of Gus’ inept play calling. Also helps Auburn won a few years prior.

UGA wins this, painful loss and delayed Natty another few years. God damn are they close though.
