Neither rivalry has been played in the Georgia Dome. I find that a bit crazy. (UF-LSU neither)

I'll go with Bama/UT... ONLY because I do not see Auburn winning the West.

I don't think either will happen next year if that helps. UT is building depth, Georgia has one of those "Who's shoes did we pee on in the SEC offices" schedules. It should be a tight race but I think Mizzou sneaks in again next year.

Now... the year after. Flip a coin. Georgia will have a ton of talent as always. The Vols should be ready for a March to Atlanta. Auburn will settled in. Alabama will still be Bama. If at least one of those four teams doesn't make the conference championship then I would be stunned.

I wouldn't mind seeing another UA/UGA in the Dome. That was one of the best games I've attended.

Yes, and no... Georgia needs to beat Auburn and Alabama while holding serve against the rest of the East. Historically they've tended to drop one game against an East team they should beat.

If Mizzou holds steady then it might come down to Georgia needing to beat both of the Alabama teams to win the East even if they beat Mizzou.

Though what sort of masochist schedules Georgia Southern and Georgia Tech back to back? It won't impact the East race but Georgia is going to have a hell of a fight on its hands the last two weeks and neither team will be anything like they see in the SECCG if they make it.

As a football fan that was by far the best game I've ever attended. As a UGA fan that was by far the saddest game I've ever attended. Still can't watch the replay. Hurts too much.

Me neither, with a different outcome of course. I will always maintain that UGA would have done about the same with ND as Bama did. But it depresses me to think about.

Of the two choices, UGA/AU. tenny is outstanding in their own mind. I still want to know if Butch can actually coach a team???

Well, if you are playing this on statistical odds, you'd say Bama/UT is more likely.

SEC Championship Game Appearances
Bama - 9
Auburn - 5
Georgia - 5
Tenn - 5

Bama is virtually 2x as likely as any of those teams to be in the SECCG, and when partnered with UT you've got 14 to 10 advantage.

If you are placing your bets based on your own eyes, you'd have to go with AU/UGA, though. UT hasn't been since 2007 and both AU and UGA have been 2x each since UT's last visit.

ETA: I give up on posting with this damn phone.

What I meant to say is that is a fairly solid statistical analysis.

As neither AU nor UT will make the SECCG, I'll go with "none of the above"

Well, my prediction is probably Bama-UGA but that's not an option here.
