Can you give us some subtitles for what Sabans is saying there please? I don't really give a shite about what he has to say, honestly, but I'm making an effort here to understand the point you're trying to convey.

LSU...has a massive meltdown is my guess.

When do they not?

Ain't happening.

I respect Cutcliff as a coach, but Saban has had the taste of that beatdown in his mouth all summer. Being the first game of the season, Duke doesn't have a chance. Maybe if they were later in the season, I'd give them a slight chance, but not today.

Alabama knows they struggle with the ACC
lol.

But, given the player turnover from last year and suspension/injuries for projected starters going into today, there is the potential for some melting early on in this game. If Duke can get Bama's young players on D out of position for some big plays or a lot of 3rd down conversions, there will be some Tide fans melting.

But, unless Daniel Jones sneaks back on the field, I think the Bama raw talent advantage and adjustments overcome any experience gap the Bama D may have vs Duke.

Plus, Duke won't slow the Bama O, so it's a moot point. Parts of the game may be ugly. But it wont be close over 4 qtrs

I think anyone will melt if a starter gets hurt......which usually happens in week 1

I see it differently than most here. The way I see it is that with all the suspensions Alabama is looking at in the first half that they'll actually play ground and pound ball for the first half of the game. Trying to chew clock and get to the locker room so they get their players back on the field.

IMO, going 4 wide because your running backs are out is a dumb move.

LSU after our first possession on which we don’t score or after GSU gets a first down.

Considering our record vs. the SEC over the last 5 years, 25-5 would be considered scrugglin'.

I think it will be balanced. A lot more of a pro-style look with Sark calling plays. His offenses focus on run first and physicality, high percentage throws and getting the ball out quick to playmakers in space.

Challenge will be starting a half with only two RBs. Both are inexperienced. Picking up the blitz and blocking as a RB would be a liability in the first half, so I agree I dont expect a 4 wide, air it out type of game.

That said, even if Najee and B Rob were playing the whole game, I think the game plan would be similar. Sark runs a different O. We may even see the play action pass and Tua under center with some regularity... mind blown.

Getting back to a physical attack while retaining the flexibility to retain explosiveness given Tua's ability and the talent around him is going to be fun to watch.

Burrow could be 20/20, 285 yds, and 3TDs in a blowout win, and some dumbass would still start a bitching thread on the score board

LSU will melt after they win by 40, but Burrow doesn't look amazing. They'll calm down when the realize their vaunted freshmen look really good.
