And he was ruled ineligible after 4 or 5 games. Then he was off the team. LSU fans keep throwing this out like it helps their case.

Huh? That’s exactly the route LSU is taking except they haven’t been ruled ineligible lol. It’s the exact same scenario.

LSU hasn't played anyone yet.
How does Alabama play a literal pro for 4 or 5 games and LSU gets sued just for thinking about it?
Surely, you can see the selective enforcement there.

He was allowed to play on the grounds that he had a TRO granted to him by a friendly Alabama judge. The same as the current players in question.
But for some reason Sankey didn’t threaten severe punishment to Alabama for playing Bediako

That case would seem to show the SEC does not allow players who signed professional contracts.

Only after the SEC won their appeal, and he was still played in 5 games with absolutely zero consequences.
I’m glad we’ve established that LSU can play these guys, with no consequences, until the SEC wins an appeal.

Yeah, seems like that has already been settled.
So why is Kiffin recruiting pros and then having them sue for eligibility when the SEC has spoken?
Seems like insubordination and conduct unbecoming that rises to the level of dismissal.
PUT EM OUT!!!

No. That case shows there is a rule that they can’t play former pro players.

Using facts with a group who intentionally ignores them because they hate LSU and Lane Kiffin is a waste of effort

Euro Pros were playing all over CBB. What's the difference in a Euro Pro and an NBA pro. That's why Bediako sought the TRO. It would be the same scenario if former CFL players were back playing in college.

But it shows the SEC does allow players with TROs to play without consequences.
But apparently only for certain teams

Except they did, with zero consequences.
Then Missouri suited up and played another former pro just last night.

It actually shows you can play them under a court order and the SEC nor NCAA will even make you vacate the games once the player was determined to be ineligible.

Interesting since State has a couple of those currently on their roster.

Correct and incorrect. That case shows the NCAA disagrees and will not allow eligibility. It also shows if a school willingly goes the court route and disobeys the original judgement nothing should occur. No law suits or anything. Then if ruled ineligible again the team should release said player. So basically nothing from what you’re saying lol.

My favorite quote from yesterday about Sankey
quote:
Then judge said "I get what you're trying to ask and I see that he is not going to answer, but I understand his answer. He is going to follow the rules and the bylaws until the point that he is not going to follow them anymore"
