He wouldn't fit at Texas and I don't mean that as an insult to Texas he just wouldn't. I don't think he'd leave for Florida because it seems like a mess. I could see him fitting at Clemson but I doubt they'd want him.

Why on earth would he leave for a vastly inferior program with poor recruiting and awful NIL?
Remove your head from your arse and take a breath.
EQ > IQ
See yourself first. If Harry Potter beats Bama on Saturday, it doesn't change the assessment.
If the man truly has an emotional attachment to Arkansas, he may very well take it.

Drink is the 11th best paid coach and rumors are they are in negotiations for an extension that would put him top 5.
He has shown the way and basically got the last AD fired for disagreeing with him. He has power, money, recruiting credibility and creative NIL support from corporations.
If he’s leaving, it ain’t because $ or power.

He is one of the top paid guys in the country and gets treated well here.
Only Bama and Ohio State are definitively better jobs
Georgia is a better job. Other than that, why would he go somewhere else (where the pressure is multiples higher) to try to lay the foundation he's already laid here for equal money. He's earned himself the kind of rope here he would never get in a wannabe blueblood location like Tennessee and LSU.

Do you wanna talk about that albatross of a contract BK has on LSU?

You should leave off Arkansas.
He chose Mizzou over Arkansas the first time. Why in the hell would he do it now. Lol

he chose mizzou over arkansas when we hired him

That could happen. Ole Miss boosters are exactly like my wife. Just buy shite because the money is there

Why would he want to go to a poor state with no major metro areas to recruit & only one big money donor/Walmart? Not to mention, the program is in shambles. He would be starting from scratch again. No thanks!

Honestly Mizzou is a good spot for him. Feels like he is the type that thrives at an underdog

Drink has the keys to the car at Mizzou. And he has built the car from scratch. All he has ever needed was a quality QB to take Mizzou to the next level. It appears he has that now. We will see if it materializes.
It really boils down to ego. Does he want to go somewhere else with a bigger name? Because nothing is stopping him from winning the big one at Mizzou.

TIL that Mizzou fans actually consider Missouri to be a top tier job and that they believe Drinkwitz will win a natty.
I did not realize the folks there were THAT delusional.

That's what these types of threads are for. We get to see where people's sentiments/thoughts are.

You coonasses don't "realize" a lot of things in life. It's called being extraordinarily stupid. It's caused by the high amount of lipids in your blood from eating Nutria fat.

Actually wouldn’t be surprised to see him in Oxford after Kiffin leaves for Florida. Ole Miss has shown their willingness to pay so they could pull him from Missouri. Kiffin wants a shot at a title.
At best that would be a lateral move for him. I think he stays put until he gets offered a gig at a top 15 type program.
LSU might pursue him in the next year or two. Auburn could benefit from him, but Drink has been in the SEC long enough to know Auburn is where coaching careers go to die.

Holy shite. And that’s without a championship? Ryan Day should fire his agent. So should Big Bert
Mizzou the Sleeping Giant has a lot more money than most people think.
