Depends on whether he wants to win a natty. If he wants to have a NC on his resume then I think he stays and maybe goes to Georgia!

Clearly don’t understand the game he has to play with the qb room.
What does it convey to future recruits if you bench ewers when he has been a competent game manager? Not a good message is what.
If that happened and I’m a 5 star qb I would see that as Sark would bench anyone at a moments notice for no reason.
Long game. Keep up bub.

Sark may not be there next year.

Would be insane for him to leave. Where else can he get paid $10mm with a loaded recruiting pipeline in place and his job security?

He can make comparable money and not have to recruit at all in the NFL.

NFL though, he’d washout real quick, and I don’t think he or Texas are that good In the 1st place

I agree but you’d think they’re the New England patriots based on their publicity. I’d milk it if I were him, good thing going right now.

He could always come back to college. Bama would hire him 2 years from now if DeBoer doesn't work out and he'd be back in a comparable situation.

I hope Sayin is the real deal, because Air Noland was good and a dual threat QB, where Sayin is a pro-style.

Ewers held firm, saying that he is focused on his matchup vs. arguably the best team in college football on Friday.
“Right now, I’m just not worried about all that stuff,” Ewers said. “People can say all they want to say. I’m just focused on Friday at this point in time.”

Miami makes the most sense
The talking heads (like Bobby Burton) who have legit ties to the program insist he is going pro. This is a weak overall QB class and Ewers will look better than everyone else in individual workouts. If he beats Ohio State and looks good doing it, I think him going to the draft is a near certainty.
However, if he doesn't go to the draft, how does a 21 year old turn down 6 million to go to South Florida? He would get to open up at home against ND and then have a cake schedule.

He will finish this season and that $6 million dollar offer will fade into nothing but an Aggie hoax designed to take Texas off focus.

Sounds like Ewers might now be staying in the college next year? He can make more money in NIL than in the NFL.
Ewers staying in college?
Ewers staying in college?

If Ewers hits the college football open market, there will be multiple blue blood, deep-pocket teams bidding for him, including but not limited to Ohio State, Georgia and Southern California — all of which have the money to make Ewers an offer he can’t refuse.

Is that true. Heard the rumor here but haven't come across it in the media.

No idea but I wish him well. Probably sounds odd from someone who's been so critical of him all season.
He's been nothing but class since he was here and, from all accounts, was a great teammate. I'm rooting for him to turn things around.
