I think you can understand the lack of self awareness that is required to go there.
When they were in the Big XII it was better. You could even argue the Big XII South was the hardest division in college football in the late 90s and early 2000s with Brown, Stoops, Leach, Miles and RC. After losing Nebraska, Colorado, Mizzou and A&M, and replacing them with TCU and West Virginia, the conference really took a down swing in relevancy regardless of how those teams are performing today. From a competition standpoint it doesn't hold a candle to a week-to-week SEC schedule and you guys will see that the first season you step in the league. That's why no one cares about your 6 championships in a row in the minor leagues.

We are recruiting better. I think going to the SEC will help us recruit better on that side of the ball. Its obvious to us fans and everyone else our defense has cost us some big games. Time and recruiting will fix that.

Soon enough OU fans will be crying for Riley's head. He inherited a smooth running machine w top recruits but in reality is NOT a proven HC. The days of wishing for Stoops return will be coming and this year too!!
Last year was nothing. This year will be just as disappointing. Probably more considering it looks like Sark will be an improved coach over Riley.
