The SEC needed someone as bland as Kelly just to balance Leach out.

I’ve been watching leach closely…silently observing, and THAT is the top shelf version. Some of his other stuff was a little forced, but that one was genuine and well done. His best yet aside from this:

"A lot of people would've eaten it in that situation, but not me."
The SEC is a better conference with Leach and his Sprees in a box.

What a strange, wonderful little man.

Mike Leach and Jack Burton have the worlds greatest reflexes

I thought he sounded exactly like John Madden. Leach will be awesome as a color analyst in the TV booth when he retires.

I was sad when Spurrier retired and Les Miles got canned because the characters are what make SEC football as much as anything for me. Mike Leach is a treasure. Hope the dude coaches in the league forever.

I hadn’t seen that gif before, it’s great. I can almost hear Leach saying ‘pinchy pinchy poo poo’ as he’s messing with Lane’s mask

I'm laughing at that gif because I do that to my kid all the time. LOL

He actually worked for CBS briefly between his stints at Texas Tech and Washington State, and strangely enough he even did color commentary for an MSU game in 2010.
