They should do what Aggy was too stupid to do and hire Josh Elander from Tennessee.
Better hurry up and do it before A&M fires their failed Schlossnipple replacement and beats you to it.

There’s only one man for the job
25 years of head coaching experience
Multiple SEC tournament championships
Multiple CWS appearances
Knows the state of Mississippi like the back of his hand
19 NCAA appearances
1 national title
You know who it is. We would hate to lose him but he would be the perfect fit at State. And we can’t just stand in the way of perfection

Mike Bianco. Proven winner.

They didn't make a big time hire when hiring Lemonis. Not sure they can afford to repeat that mistake. On the other, dropping a couple mil on a baseball coach at a time where the football program could really use the money seems short-sighted. I do not envy Selmon.

Really hoping he's a one n done.
No ill will, but not the right guy for what is, essentially, a full top-to-bottom program rebuild in Columbia.

Cannizaro just gets drunk with high school parents and get into fights with them before a playoff game. That was his last stint.

Mike Bianco or Tony Vitello.

Just disband the program will save money from that moneypit of a program.

Will they though?
Y’all aren’t big on spending for coaches or NIL and baseball isn’t a real revenue generating sport (even if it is the most popular sport at State).
