that's why I think LSU fans should want this game. Beating us twice would be the ultimate frick you.
Yes it would...y'all need to realize y'all may be just as lucky as the 2007 LSU team going to the ship if you somehow back into it. It'd be a shame that LSU would have to beat the same team twice. Such is life if it is. They'll be ready. LSU has gotten better since the game.

Don't you think you need to be conference champs to play in bcsng, I do and have thought this since the bcs came out. I don't mind a rematch with Oregon since they will be conference champs but bama, you needed to win your division let alone conference

Anyone from either fanbase who chooses to discount the abilty of these two teams is obviously just kidding themselves.
We experienced this last weekend too. All the little teenage Bama fans get all fuzzy headed and giggly on alcohol and log on to talk shite. It'll all level out tomorrow.

"Hey I am not the one on here begging to play anyone else."
But you are the one begging the BCS to give you a second chance.

Your one drive in regulation went inside the ten. At the same time, we clearly had more drives to put us in reasonable scoring position if we had a decent kicker. Granted you can't count on making long 40 to short 50 yard kicks but you should certainly be able to make a 44 yarder. Again, our special teams suck, and it could be the difference again.
Not pulling the better team lost card. Special teams are a big part of the game and even besides that, LSU's defense once we got inside the 30 really bowed up. But lets face it, your offense did absolutely nothing for almost the entire game. One drive until OT. One drive, nothing else. I think LSU should be the slight favorite but all this talk about a blowout is absurd, where are the points coming from? Could it happen? Yes, sure. Is there any good reason to think so? frick no
You did completely outplay us in OT. No doubt about it.

Bring LSU on.
i bet this is too much for you to understand, bu here goes..
would you be dying to play LSU again if we were going to the CapOne bowl?
you act like all you want to do is beat LSU.. dont act so fricking tough on the internet dumbass.. the only reason you want anything in the world to do with the team that made your star players quit, is because its your only hope of winning the NC.. otherwise, you would want to play anyone but them

Nobody on here or on the team is scared to face Alabama again, most of us just think it is a bad idea for them to be put in the championship game. They lost at home to LSU, are not even GOING to ATL for the SEC Championship game much less winning the title, so why should they be allowed to sit at home and watch everyone play as the supposed "2nd best team in the country"? As much as I hate him, Holtz said it best on ESPN today when he said at best LSU and Bama should be meeting in Atlanta for the SEC Championship, not in the Superdome. A rematch of in-conference, same division rivals proves that the BCS system is flawed. All you Bama faithful that take this talk as LSU being scared to face LSU again next to stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

Go ahead if youre scared and beat Okie State by 21.
They certainly don;t deserve to play in the game losing to who they lost to.
OU may very well take care of the debate.

We've been there, done that. Remember LSU vs UGA in 2003?

"Okie State is going to jump you"..keep begging and begging boys. OU stands a good chance to beat those pretenders. Then who will you be touting?
You're the one had to rely on Okie State, Oregon, and Lane Kiffin to get in this game, little bitch....
Your the team who blamed your loss on "camera wires"
Wake the frick up before Les Miles makes you look stupid again...

LSU had one scoring drive the whole game
LSU had a receiver fall down for no reason on the 10 before half. Subsequently, dropped a TD pass (RR). And ran out of time with 1st and goal on the 2.
Scored an apparent TD in OT, if not for an unnecessary step out of bounds. Made FG's from 19, 25, and 30 yds.
Alabama runs, what, 3 plays inside the 20? Missed their FG's from somewhere in the vicinity of Birmingham. Went backwards in OT to attempt their longest one, yet LSU has the inept offense.
We spot you 2 INT's with a QB that throws to the only double covered receivers on the field, and is now a designated victory formation signal caller.
There's no doubt Alabama is the second best team in the nation, and I would not oppose a rematch, if the absurdity of our extra game against a team practically at home on a 9 game win streak, wasn't necessary prior to your extra week of rest and prep for us.
The only caveat for such an absurd situation would be a shared title, should LSU falter. Otherwise, find a different opponent, or change the system.
It will be used as Exhibit A for all in favor of a playoff.

LOL, we're not Georgia.
I think LSU is slightly better though, because of the special teams advantage. But our defense is nasty (against FBS teams ) The only way there's a blowout is if McCarron or our offense in general implodes turnover wise. Otherwise LSU won't score enough.

You lost you delusional idiot!!! Game was played 11/5 and LSU won.

My guess is Jordan Jefferson. If Bama wins, it will likely be because of mistakes made by Jefferson. LSU has a far superior kicking game but the offenses and defenses are remarkably even.
I expect Saban will play much more of a field position game and may let McCarron throw more, especially to the tight ends and backs. I wouldn't look for Maze to throw any more passes.
I would expect us to spend a lot of time defending the option.

Reading comprehension issues. I even said I thought LSU was a bit better because of special teams. I was just saying the idea that LSU would blow Alabama out in the rematch was a bit absurd considering how inept they were offensively in the first game. Where are the points coming from?

If this rematch actually happens, there will be no blowout from either team. I think the score goes up, but will still be very close. Both teams will have to bring their A games.
