It's said Auburn has a $30million NIL war chest for football.

25. We literally sold away a home game to help get that.
Jon Cohen needs to be shitcanned for that idiotic move.

Some of my favorite LSU games of all time were against Auburn.
Yall sure did cheer when Oklahoma screwed Auburn with an illegal touchdown.

"This is KARMA for back in 07 when Auburn didnt get called for defensive pass interference"

Georgia and Alabama got elite. They are 2 hours from both programs. It has choked Auburn

So Alabama's dropping off and Georgia doesn't seem so scary anymore. Our time to shine?

I loved the Golesh hire.

I do too. It sucks that we lost so much talent this past offseason, but then again it was a 1 SEC win team. I’m hopeful Golesh gets Auburn playing well again.

Unproven talent. Those expensive players racked up 1 SEC win on the way to 5 consecutive losing seasons.

JMHO, but Golesh & Co. will take what he's got, develop it and put guys in a position to win games. That shite Freeze pulled was a televangelist level scam job.

Totally agree. Star chasing. Offense was just terrible. No telling what Auburn paid for Jackson Arnold.

Is Lake Martin deep enough to hide out a Borei-class SSBN ?

And Cam Coleman, and Perry Thompson, and.... Freeze was all about headlines, The Fabulous Freeze Five, as he grabbed attention and crowed about raiding rivals of their star recruits. As long as he could sell to his boss and the AU fan base with his excuses, he was okay pulling that paycheck. "Oh, I didn't have time to game prep, I was busy recruiting", "I didn't scheme or plan for the bowl game, I was busy recruiting." blah blah blah

Then that shite he and Cohen fed the media last summer when AU was ranked 80th in recruiting, Cohen & Freeze blamed the shitty recruiting on "everyone else interpreting the new rules incorrectly. And just wait till August 1st when the 1st date new revenue-sharing deals can be put on paper, things are going to change."

What Head Coach gets away with publicly claiming he doesn't have time to actually coach his team or game plan for an opponent? But damned if the AU fans & Administration give him a pass.

Well you're half right here. Cohen actually torpedoed recruiting resulting in multiple defections.

I don't think Golesh is going to be a miracle worker, but I'd bet on him putting a more productive and enjoyable product on the field in Y1, and with (by most estimates) probably less star power.
