ETA: And again, they didn’t have to make up a rule for Chambliss. It’s been known that playing ineligible players is against the rules for decades. The SEC and NCAA haven’t been able to act on it because, and wait for it, judges around the country have forbidden them to do so.

Judge shopped for a temporary ruling. Please don't muddy the waters and act like SCOTUS issued this. Remember how that worked out for that Bendecko kid, or however your spell/pronounce his name? LSU is playing with fire, and I think the last few dudes with some money and sense will squash this before it goes too far. Unfortunate for LSU, the distraction has already sprouted roots.
