Basically stuffed rolls, mini crawfish pies. If you're ever passing through Faunsdale, stop in Ca-John's and try his. You can get 'em to go. Will knock your socks off

Baseball may be first love, but food and football are the greatest things invented by man.

Grandiose plans and whatnot, but when you've been standing around drinking all day and someone rolls in late with the cold chicken fingers or tray of nuggets from Chick-Fil-A, it's suddenly like the greatest thing on earth.
CFA's chicken minis are one of the best tailgate dishes for a morning game

I like raw oysters during the Championship months.
Not quite sure I'd trust raw oyesters at a tailgate
Just trying to get some more “unique” suggestions. :)

Not sure, hope so but I heard a couple of years ago he was thinking about retiring/selling. The man is a legend :) He wasn't happy with the quality of crawfish he was buying so he began raising his own. Guessing all that work was taking a toll. Evidently the Mobile crowd going up for games would clean him out, he often ran out on Fridays

Back when I just graduated college all our friends still
Lived in the area and nobody had kids yet so we would all tailgate like it was college still, we just had adult(ish) paychecks.
We would get together and throw one big blowout tailgate every year. Typically it was either the bama game or Florida game depending on the schedule. For bama we would always have a barbecue like I described above. For Florida, because of the timing of the game and their mascot we would do a fried tailgate.
We would get a deep fryer with 3 baskets and fry chicken tenders, mushrooms, French fries, onion rings, shrimp, and alligator. And of course all the side dishes and shite. All homemade with the exception of boudin balls we would get from Tony’s seafood.
Man those were the days.

That's one of our favorites too, but I get leery about dishes like that after a few hours of sitting out.
The alcohol kills any bacteria that you may ingest.

Corn dogs dipped in yellow mustard mixed with hot sauce.
I feel this is steriotipical.
