It started for me way before I was born when the coastal elite lib writers chose Paul Hornung on a 2-8 Notre Dame team over a more deserving Johnny Majors for heisman. Screw those self righteous pieces of shite.

It's irrational...fear of leprechauns and a border collie. Texas actually banned Reveille from the stadium; it's not like she's a flea-bag. Will never understand why some people hate dogs and little people...these people are just SEC meanies.

I was at those Cotton Bowls when ND had Mirer, Brooks, and Bettis. The ND “fans” from Dallas that sat behind us couldn’t tell me what state the school was in. I hate loudmouth, bandwagon, fair weather, sidewalk fans more than any other type,

Frankly, I'm surprised the committee didn't drop Bama to get ND into the playoffs. That's the level of special treatment the Irish usually get.

2015-09-05 - was there on my motorcycle had to ride through a monsoon on I-94 from Chicago on the way in
1996-09-21 - was my freshman year at UT I wanted revenge for 1995, sucked at least the Bryant Westbook hit was cool
1995-09-23 - was my 2nd time to south bend but first time I watched ND win and by god it sucked. I did sit in front of Coral Noonan's mom that was the only bright spot
1978-01-02 - 6 fricking turnovers cost Earl Campbell a national championship
1971-01-01 - 6 fricking turnovers snapped 30 game win streak, harbinger of things to come, sucked

Surprised too. And they hate us as much as we hate them.
I have to admit I started shock laughing when I saw Miami show up on the board next.
I never in a million years would have expected ND to be out. It wasn't like they sucked necessarily but Miami did have the h2h.
