Was at that LSU Tennessee game in 2017. Trying help my mom walk down steps with one hand and hold down my shredded poncho with the other while my hat took off and went completely out of the stadium. Bet it ended up in the river.

Starkville Regional 2000. We were watching the Notre Dame game Saturday night and out of nowhere, the wind picked and they were trying to get the tarp out. Wind got under it and threw several of the crew up into the air. One got hurt pretty bad. I had my young son with me and he had gone down to the batting cages and I couldn't find him. A tornado touched down across the road at the research park (less than mile from the stadium probably). Finally found my kid. We were staying in Columbus and took a couple of hours to get there as the storm pretty much followed 82.

2010 Georgia/South Carolina. It was unbelievably hot outside that day, and then it rained at halftime. The stadium felt like being inside of a crockpot for the second half.

I was at that game. Amazing how many fans stayed and how upbeat and raucous that crowd was during and after the deluge.

There probably is a worse one, but the worst in recent memory for me was the 2021 Egg Bowl in Starkville.

Cold, rainy, windy. Still had a great time.

2009 West Virginia @ Auburn game, "The Rain Game", hands down

I was in India watching the end of this game over breakfast. Hate I missed it. The Auburn-Penn St Outback Bowl of 1995 and the Iron Bowl of 2000 were the worst weather games I’ve ever attended.

LSU vs Oregon State season opener in BR 2004. Epic thunderstorms rolled in pregame…rain/lightning. Sun came out after and it was miserable in the stadium.

I was at this game. Crazy lightning for like an hour or 2 all night. About a fourth of the stadium stayed to wait it out.

November 19, 1983. Arkansas vs. SMU - War Memorial Stadium - Little Rock

The game where the bottom seemed to fall out, with torrential rainfall and high winds.

1996 Outback Bowl. It was pouring so much my beer was half full of water. Stephen Davis got hurt and Paterno ran it up on us.

Evacuated the stadium mid game. We were so low on the stadium that we were sheltered in the lockerroom

Mine was some random game late in the Danny Ford days, at WMS, maybe SC. About 35 degrees with the wind right in our faces and a a steady rain. The kind that makes you want to quit life. Made it a quarter and decided to go only to find out someone had blocked our car in and THEY stayed the entire game.

Was at both of these too. Was on the sidelines at the end of the Outback Bowl with water up to my calves. 2000 Iron Bowl was miserable AF

1985 Bedlam ice bowl. The field was an ice rink and it was COLD, and sleet fell for most of the game. It was 23 degrees, -4 wind chill. I was 17 and one of many idiots sitting on ALUMINUM benches.

did any of the SMU players’ cars SMU bought them suffer any hail damage?

Heat does it for me.

We were at a Duke game early season a couple of years ago. Hot. Around 100 people in the stands had heat stroke in the first qtr.. They had to set up make shift triages to handle it. My wife's grandmother was one that had a heat sickness.

I remember sitting there in the sun and heat before the game thinking I'll never make it through 4 qtrs of this.

After all the heat stress stuff happened, we left and I was glad.

Screw baking in 100 degrees sitting in the sun, no breeze, nothing.. That isn't fun at all.

Having to watch Duke play football is a worse fate than the blistering heat you endured.

had to be the 1998 home game against Ole Miss.

appx 40 degrees at kickoff and a cold slow drizzle. Temp had dropped to 35, or so it seemed, at end of 1st qtr.

decided the hell with hits, and left to go to the parents house 20 miles away to the west.

Got there, mom served up hot stew with homemade cornbread. Watch the rest of the game under one of the heavy 60 lb homemade quilts, while drinking hot chocolate and eating bowl after bowl of hot stew with cornbread.

Did get a change clothes on with dry woolen socks before diving under the quilt on the sofa.

finally warmed up after about the 2nd-3rd bowl of stew.
