Not one of the best, but he's not as bad as some people make him out to be, either. I saw real improvement last season. IF he can improve again he will be fine.

Hmmmm... I never would have guessed they were all Auburn fans. That is dumb.
I was going to go with those that attempt to claim and or attempt to defend the 1941 national title claim. For all the others that are sketchy, it is the only one that is on par with the UCF Colley Matrix National Title claim.
But, Auburn students wearing pom pom hula skirts and going to Bama games to cheer on UA takes the cake.

My school’s fan base does not do anything dumb, so I had to choose another school. Yours was the easiest. (When I said yours, I meant Alabama - not Jacksonville State where you actually went to college)

Rip Arkansas kids who decide to play elsewhere instead of at the U of A. The majority of the fanbase doesn't do it but there are still plenty who do. It's pathetic.

This is just from one topic.
This is just one example, I can find you dozens on Twitter in a matter of minutes. Boys really think Franks is going to light it up in the NFL and get taken in the top end of the first round.

He's not bad but he's in a system that really, really protects him. Mullen is a QB guy -- and not like Spurrier who just could not give a frick about his Quarterbacks in the sense that he played musical chairs with them. Mullen is the opposite. He picks a guy and sticks with him until it is literally impossible to do so. It took an 84 yard game vs. Missouri and down by multiple touchdowns for him to put in the backup last year (who outperformed Franks).
In the end, Franks is an "Okay" Quarterback in a system that's been built to mask every problem that he has. If he can't fight his way through a Missouri defense in his second year of starting, I'm not sure why people think he'll be able to read an NFL defense that's built to make his life hell.
I just don't think he's got enough QB Acumen (smarts in general) to benefit an NFL team with his stone slow reads and tunnel vision. Just look at the game vs. Georgia. Have you ever seen a QB with as much experience, height and ability throw it that crisply to a DB when his receiver was covered high and low?
If Franks played at another school, he would never see the field. Mullen is the only thing giving him a hope and a prayer of a future at the position.

State does have the most "little brother" online fanbase. So thin skinned and edgy

I agree with you on both sides. The Ole Miss - MSU hatred is too stupid to fathom. I have talked to Ole Miss fans that would rather MSU lose, even though it helps Ole Miss if MSU wins in the scenario.
I grew up with a 50-50 split in my family between Ole Miss and MSU. So, I joined a State board to discuss things football and just general interest. I was on there for years and had good discussions and never demeaned MSU. In one post, I mentioned "we" when referring to Ole Miss and was immediately banned from the board. I simply don't get it.
