Ehhh I disagree. Happens every year to a team or two on the bubble that makes a solid run in their conference tournament, only to get beat out by a team that did very little in their conference tournament. See A&M and Rutgers in 2022...

Conference tournaments are mostly meaningless for at-large bids. 2022 Texas A&M is a great example of this.
We’d be floating around the bubble if we won out but it may not be enough...
