Correct me if I am wrong but Tulane is a G5 school and not in the SEC. Ahhh, he is a coonass so I should show some grace for the retard.

So what? Is a playoff appearance not as meaningful for Tulane?

Ole Miss beat Tulane earlier this season 45-10. Jon Sumrall is quoted as saying their team is average at best and if they’re ranked, “there’s a lot of bad football being played around the country.” It’s not the same.

Ole Miss fans would burn Kiffin at the stake for doing that.

Can they find some language in the contract to fire Lane with cause?
If he has truly decided to leave OM, I would think both schools would want to be done with it after the regular season due to the portal timeline. Strange but true.

Tulane has a good shot at making the playoffs. It’s the exact same scenario.

Tulane’s 2 games away from making it, would likely be allowed to continue coaching Tulane if they make it and isn’t actively trying to sabotage his current program

Someone have all of these Ole Miss tears bookmarked for when Kiffin decides to remain.

Kiffin will curb stomp State in a few days & then leave some historically cold blooded message on X about it, & nobody will laugh. That’s probably the only thing that will bother him

--Kiffin left Tennessee high & dry in January for
his USC dream job. Students riot on campus.
--Kiffin fired from USC at 3 a.m. when team plane lands.
--Kiffin leaves Alabama as OC one week before national championship
game. Whether Saban told Kiffin to get the hell out or Kiffin
skated on his own , it was messy and could have cost Bama an NC.
--Kiffin hanging Ole Miss out to dry (with a shot at the NC)
is beyond shitty.

He left Tennessee with around 58 scholarship players I think....Cost them 3 recruiting classes. The punk is responsible for Tennessee's 15 years in the wilderness!

I get the anger toward LSU and even Florida. But this is 100% on Kiffin. The shite he has said, the cryptic tweets, the dumbass social media posts, his idiot family posting leading pictures, etc.., all on him.

Why he is doing this shite at the expense of Ole Miss players and fans is beyond me. Always thought he was an immature child so no surprise in some ways. I think it is awful for Ole Miss fans and it should not be going down this route.

Do it after the season or leave now. Just be professional about it. He’s an egotistical attention seeking child. No more and no less.

Eh, at least the team kept moving along. After Urban (Tebow) left, your whole program has melted down.

We told you guys this would happen to you when you hired him, he was gonna bolt and piss you off for Greener pastures. I’m sure he will do the same for us in about five or six years to go to the NFL. I don’t know why you’re acting so surprised.

That said, Lane basically has to decide on one great season at OM or pass up a dream job that only comes open so often. It’s his life, timing sucks, but he deserves to do what’s best for him, not just do what’s best for OM right now.

Unfortunately this is how college football is. The signing dates, etc., do not allow a coach to wait until the season is 100% over.
