Kentucky. High school teammate and good friend signed to play there
Used to pull for Ole Miss until they quit playing Dixie and fired Colonel Reb

LSU.
It’s always fun when they are winning. (Unless it is against Auburn)
I still can’t forgive them for dumping Will Wade. I want him at Auburn after Pearl retires but I know I won’t get it.

West Virginia. Have a good time every time I go to a game there. They haven’t had the best leadership and athletic department over the years. Good people and a beautiful drive during the Fall.

Go Pack! Was also a huge Jimmy V fan.
Added bonus is now that Wade is there hopefully he'll beat up on Duke and UNC.

I wish I could have sat back and chose just any school across the nation. My dad was a small-town postmaster, I was lucky to send myself up the road.

In the SEC, Arkansas and Florida. Outside, the Pittsburg State Gorillas.

No hatred of LSU here--my parents are alums
It's just that I get to hear it when LSU beats Arkansas from family and friends, so I hate losing to you guys as much as I hate losing to Ole Miss (friends who are alums).
Damn, I miss those Black Friday games as they were often epic.

Whoever is playing Tex / UT jr., Arkansas (since my kids went there), and Auburn (best fans I’ve experienced so far in away games there, UGA, Ole Miss). If I include pre-2012 visits to OU and Austin, I’d still slot Ole Miss visits last.

I miss those as well... but certainly understand why they went away from them.
I remember reading "The Courting of Marcus Dupree" and Willie Morris the author.... who at the time was Ole Miss faculty basically said that Black prospects in Mississippi simply weren't comfortable with the atmosphere at Ole Miss in the late '70s and early '80s
Ole Miss went away from venerating the confederacy so much and things started to change in their athletic programs.
Roughly a decade after the Willie Morris book was written... the Chucky Mullins tragedy happened. The Ole Miss response to Chucky's injuries was touching...
And Ole Miss having honoring James Merideth on the field shows how they overcame that negative racial stigma. Unfortunately Dixie and Col Reb and some other things along the way.

Mississippi State, Michigan State, Penn State, Arkansas.
Also don't hate LSU, UF. Half of my family are gators.

You don’t see too many Gorillas references. My cousin played there in the 90’s.

I'm going to get absolutely crucified for this but I was rooting for the ags to win the CWS.
Bear with me now. I had a lifelong friend and aggie grad that was like a brother to me that went to A&M. He lived and breathed aggie sports. He was dying of cancer last year and I really wanted to see him experience a NC in a sport he loved before he passed. So yes, I was rooting for them to win, for him.
He's the main reason I don't hate the ags as much as most here. We forget that online message board fans tend to be the worst of each fan base, not to mention all the alters. All the real ags I know or have known were great people.
