He is as good as Kirby Smart is against LSU.

He gets an A for not getting fired yet, somehow.

Personally, as an LSU fan, I hope Malzahn remains at Auburn forever, just like I hope Kirby remains at UGA forever.

C+. His offenses are painful-to-watch-hot-garbage that lack consistency and rely on big plays. He recruits well. He has had above average defenses and last year was borderline elite.

The only group of fans that rag on him is Auburn fans.

Eh, we all take our shots at Goose. Though a lot of it is just gaslighting the Auburn fans as they move on and off of the bus during the course of a season. I think at this point the majority of AU posters here would send him packing if they could but the flip flopping on Gus as a coach in those earlier years was a pleasure to watch. I'd put him in the B to B+ range with the caveat that going toe to toe with the Saban pulls him up at least a full letter grade.

Considering it's Auburn, that's got to be an A+.

Its perfectly reasonable to view that 1st season as a fluke considering what it took to happen and what has happened since then.

All you Auburn fans have an overinflated sense of self worth.

He humiliates Bama on the regular. That’s a A plus in my book. He will win a Natty if he stays.

Gus gets a B-.

Would be a low C without all of those wins over Bama. The man is lucky he has that Jordan Hare lucky charm.

But since he is one of 3 coaches to take home an SEC championship in the last 7 years, B it is.

28-7

How did this statement make it past so many without being called out? FFS, Auburn was the team on the losing side of this game.
