There is nothing aristocratic about Ole Miss. They like to call themselves the "Harvard of the South", but they have a 100% admission rate. Wearing a sport coat and a bow tie and driving a used Lexus to campus on game day doesn't make you an aristocrat. They're frauds, and I'm convinced the majority of their cars get repoed in the off season.
Isn’t it pretty late for you to drive 90 down 12 in your 120 month 20% Apr F250 to get to your shift at the plant for 6 am?

I mean you personally said that Kiffin forced Weis Jr to go to Baton Rouge with him.
Are you doubting the ultimatum? Weiss had a choice after that day. But he absolutely told him if he didn’t get on the plane he wouldn’t have a job. You just don’t want to believe facts. There is a word for that.

Lane absolutely wants that win for than any of the 12 on LsU’s schedule. He better win or LSU will start 2-2 and the honeymoon period will be over.
Ole Miss fans love their stories

Yes. I'm doubting all of that. And it's "Weis", not "Weiss".
Why the frick would Weis continue to work for a guy that threatened his job when he could've just stayed at Ole Miss? Would you?

Well you are a dumbass because it 100% happened. He almost didn’t. He felt he owed his career at a young age to Kiffin. But he wavered heavily for about a week after Lane’s departure.

What is your excuse for all of the staffers who weren't on the plane and still ended up at LSU?

Not even close bud.

Outside of Smith who stayed to recruit Lacy, what on the field coaches didn’t get on the plane followed him to LSU? An off the field assistant WR coach doesn’t count.

There were only 2 or 3 guys on the plane with him, I distinctly remember Ole Miss fans crowing about it.
Then suddenly, there's 20 staffers with him in Baton Rouge, even though he supposedly just threatened their jobs and they had the opportunity to stay with Pete.

Again, what is your excuse for all of these people having jobs at LSU, despite not getting on the plane, despite having the opportunity to stay?
Let's not forget, Pete was immediately named the permanent replacement. Anyone could have stayed with him.

Pretty simple. The offensive guys went with the offensive coach. The defensive guys stayed with the defensive coach. But to hear Ole Miss fans tell it, Kiffin held them all at gunpoint and threatened their lives.

Off the field support staff. Huge difference.

Carter gambled in Pete because he could tell people they had jobs and could stay. That day. Seems to have work out so far. Pete was hired because of Lane temper tantrum and ultimatum after he was told for the 6th time he couldn’t coach the playoffs. Carter hired Pete to tell on field coaches they had jobs if they wanted them.
He literally said “if I can’t coach the playoffs I’ll take all your coaches then”. He is a child.
It’s very simple but yall want to complicate everything to not paint Lane as the Narcissist he is. We can revisit this in 4 years when he was a failure in BR.

Ole Miss fans come across as very gullible people. This is why you keep getting duped by your AD and insiders.
No wonder so many of you have had historically bad takes throughout this entire situation.

The truth is right in front of your face. Just embrace it. Maybe you are the gullible one? What if that is the case? It’s a huge possibility.
Hint: Mascona is a scam that builds up pressure so he can burn it down when it goes south. Happened the last 2 coaches down there. Same exact script.

What Lane did deserves insults but not bodily harm for sure. Not like Ole Miss would have gone far in the playoffs with him.
